Ooh, this one is a full-length novel!!!

These novellas are so good.

I love that these are short books, but I also hate that they are short books, because I want more Dex and Mosscap. 🤖

I'm absolutely loving this book.

I have never felt so seen and attacked by the first two chapters of a book, and I love it.

Them: "When did you start this book?"
Me: "It's been 84 years..."
About done, though. And it's engaging, for sure, but so long a dragon grew to almost adulthood in the time it's taken me to read it.

THIS NOVEL IS HUGE! WHY!!!
I mean, entertaining, and I'm still hooked, but also, Rebecca, seriously, 640 pages of the tiniest print font?

Also, please, more Tairn and Andarna bickering.

Oh look, MORE Emily Henry MCs with messed up family lives!

I stand by what I said when reading Fourth Wing: this series is templated after Harry Potter (with graphic on-the-page violence and sex), but that's not a bad thing. It's just as absorbing, especially as the world/story opens up more and more, and as a bonus, it moves a heck of a lot faster than HP did.

Okay, I'm liking this one more than the first one so far.

This isn't exactly what I'd want to be reading right now, but the audiobook makes it a good story to get through until I'm in a better reading mood.

Pausing cause I lost the book somewhere in the house.

I'm fully hooked by the story-within-a-story.

Giving Dune another try, and only four chapters in, I'm already seeing this in a new light. I'm noticing details I completely missed the first time around which give greater context to the world, and understanding the subplots and themes a lot better.

Paused until I get it from the library again.

This is an excellent book with great information about the psychology of finance, money, and spending. But it's not where my head is at right now. I'll come back to it later.
