Me after chapter 1: I don't know if I'm gonna be into this novel.

Me since chapter 3: I NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!

First time reading a spy thriller, and liking it a lot so far.

I'm taking my sweet time with this book because there's a lot to process here. I probably will end up buying my own copy.

I'm at 55%, not on page 55. 🤦

It's a slow-burn story, but I am enjoying reading about characters both my age and with my own nerdy likes. So refreshing.

Listen... I like this still, but parts of it have definitely NOT aged well.

I think Olivia Dade has officially become one of my fave authors.

Seriously, dude, just come clean and tell her the truth already. This obvious plot delay tactic aside, still very much enjoying this book.

I'm enjoying a lot Olivia Dade's writing, and the story featuring fan-fic writers for a GoT-esque show. That said, this novel would've ended in Chapter 7 if our Hero, Marcus, could just have said the truth. I'll accept the miscommunication trope, but it still annoys me a little.

Loving this so far.

Good novel, good writing, but too long. I'm going to finish it, but in all honesty, at this point, I'm forcing myself.

Just 4% into the book, just the prologue part, and it already plunged a dagger into my feelings. Damn.
