Oh fuck. How in the hell did I go from being 100% on Jesse's side - wanting him to have the power to pull the plug on his brain-dead wife (an end I have full faith in, completely, and want for myself if that were to ever happen) - to almost seeing it from her sister's POV? This is killing me, but I do see what she's trying to say...Jesse IS keeping her alive with the fight to pull her off and paying for care...

I can't wait to see my reference librarian's face when she has to hand over the two books I just sent an ILL request through for...The Price of Temptation and Discreet Young Gentleman both by MJ Pearson. OMG, those covers. Seriously, gay versions of typical bodice rippers and I love them beyond all reason!!!

The narrator sounds so familiar; it's bugging me. The name isn't ringing any bells, though...

Hmmm...this narrator has a much different, deeper/richer tone than the ones I'm used to from the books I've listened to recently (Iggy Toma & Mark Westfield). I hope he's the same one for book 2 - I hated the first change in narrator for the Cut & Run series...and I know there's another one coming.

I love the unapologetic conversation of Tim being Bi - but now married and monogamous. And Jesse, previously identifying as gay until he fell in love with Marcy and now pursuing a relationship with Christopher. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bi-positive messages and characters.

OMFG. Attention ALL AUTHORS: If you set your book in Las Vegas, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS KINKY use NUMBERS for streets unless it is 93/95 or I215/I15. EVERY OTHER STREET IS KNOWN BY A NAME. If you head out of the valley, please feel free to designate by number. But ISTG if I see one more "159" - aka: CHARLESTON BLVD BITCHES - or "592" - JFC that's FLAMINGO ROAD - I'm gonna scream. KThxBai!

...I don't know why but I find it odd that the Chenco to Caramela distinction and metamorphosis sounds so much like a multiple personality - with distinct wants, needs, opinions and characteristics - rather than a part of who he actually IS.

Forgot to mention a line that almost made me pee: "...enough body glitter to choke a Westboro Baptist." I only hope that is an actual amount of sparkly stuff because I'd gladly contribute to it's purchase...many times over.

Yeah, I'm not all that fond of the mandatory marking of Therians. Smacks of Nazi Germany to me, no matter the intent. Making unregistered Therians go to be classified and tattooed...well, that's one of those laws I'd like to see the THIRDS agents start actively objecting to, or passively choosing not to enforce.

Fuck Zane. You betta 'fess up to those 3 words you're struggling to admit or else Ty is gonna outie on you. It's one thing to feel like you know you're loved; it's another to hear it confirmed. That's the kind of declaration that shouldn't go unreturned for long...Ty needs to know.

I love how Ty isn't really "babying" Zane...he's helping & guiding, but not treating his lover like an invalid. That's probably the best way of making sure Zane doesn't come to resent the need for assistance.

I don't know why I kept putting off this book...it's riDICulously hot OMFG. I think the cover wasn't all that appealing so I just skipped over it. Also, HOLY FUCK I bet the audiobook is gonna melt my panties.

Wow, okay this one has a WHOLE LOT more actual sex than the previous installment...
