I mean, I understand, but...I don't. 😂😅

This book just arrived in the mail and my brother insists on devouring it before I do. 😅

Anyway. That cover is my favorite in the whole series, and I CANNOT wait to get started. 😉

Okay, though sci-fi isn't normally my thing...

I'm LOVING this so far. 😄

I'm loving the worldbuilding so far. Though it was a bit confusing at first, I really enjoy how Sanderson slowly shows us more of the worldbuilding, bit by bit and layer by layer without being one giant info dump.

Interesting so far. It's written in a middle-grade style, which isn't exactly my favorite thing in writing in the world, but it works with the MC.

I finally got my hands on a copy. Super excited to start this!

It's going a bit slow...but I'm loving the overall "feel" of this book. And the prose. 😍Mysterious and soulful and...magical. Like the cover. Aah.

EEEEEK I'm excited for this!! While this genre isn't really my thing, from what I've heard, this story is amazing, and I'm loving it so far!

It's happening. I'm finally reading what I've been hearing is "[one of] the best dystopians of all time."

Needless to say, I have high expectations for this book. We'll see if they're met. ;)

A couple chapters in, I encountered a variety of things—including eight-year-olds cussing, as well as some pretty offensive language.

As for now, I've gotten past that part, but I don't know—the story is interesting, but it's not in the style I'm familiar with. Probably because I don't read much in this genre, though!

Got this at the local bookstore and the blurb drew me in. I don't usually read novels based on true stories, but I decided to give this one a try anyway!

For some reason, I don't find myself sympathizing with Hannah much. A lot of the time, she lets her anxiety take over and breaks down and cries—but in some ways, she's a lot like me in the way she views the world. Hm...

One of the reasons I'm reading this book is because I love the characters TOO much.

Including CASH GRAY. 🤩One of the most memorable fictional characters I've read—and that's saying a lot coming from me. 😆

I love her thoughts on characters and conflict.

It's...interesting so far...

I feel like the writing style is throwing me off somehow...it's just not what I'm used to. Probably because it's been a while since I've read middle-grade.
