Taking a break from some of the other reading that I have been doing. One of my fav SciFi series since I was a kid.

I am glad that I got this book for free. Most of the stories are meh. A lot of the stories are not what I find erotic. There are several stories of incest, gang bang, voyeurism, shring, partner swapping and a cuckold story or two. So far considering this a one or two star book.

Much like other books from this author, the beginning is a little slow. World building, and character development take a lot of the beginning. Great start of the book with action, rather than starting slow with all the character build up and background. Nora Robert's blog has been discussing ghost writing and plagiarism which runs rampant in the indie publishing world. Wonder how long until this author suffers.

Finally getting to the magical ass kicking! Lots of political buildup and world setting to this point.

So damn good, want to tear through the book in one sitting.

I am thankful that I received this rather large book for free. Most of the stories have been meh. There are several stories so far that I did not find particularly erotic. Cuckolding (either male or female) does not appeal to me. Neither am I aroused at the thought of watching my partner with other men. I strongly dislike MFM erotic stories and so far too many stories in this book feature wife sharing, swapping etc.

I really have to be in the mood for Space Opera this political. I love it, but only when I am able to concentrate on what is going on.

I was thinking that no way would a professional sexual surrogate engage in unprotected sex. My girl suggested that everyone a surrogate sees is screened so perhaps. Some sexual dysfunction is caused by condoms. Don't know how a surrogate would help with condom disfunction. When your partner has a background in nursing it is amazing what you learn.

One of the reason my Goodreads reading challenge is so high is that this is the first year that I included all the novellas and erotica. Previous years I didn't count novellas and erotica. I figured I am a grown ass man and if I want to read erotica then I might as well count it.

Still going through the pile of free erotica and romances I received around Christmas time. This collection so far has been meh. A couple are ok and some are truly awful. This is a really thick book of erotica mostly focusing on women of color as the primary character in most of the scenes. If I had bought this, I would be very disappointed.

I expected to really hate the first book of this series. Very engaging flawed and damaged characters. I don't care for the fact that everyone is screwing everyone (too much casual sex for me) but the characters alone carry this story.

I've enjoyed The Saga of Recluce ever since I found the first book. Modesitt is one of the few authors that can mix fantasy and SciFi well-enough that I will read it.

I am glad that I did not buy this book. Interesting topic and a in depth look at how a single fish (bluefin tuna) is such a global market. Almost immediately forgettable after reading though, so not something that I will keep even for the coffee table discussion pile.

For some bizarre reason, I got several lesbian and bisexual women romances and erotica for free. Perhaps my reviews are getting more traction than I expected? From my Medium stats, I think that no one reads my reviews.

This book is fairly boring and I flip through it to kill time occasionally. Most of the "confessions" sound to me like advertising and porn industry BS. I also believe that "hottest" is subjective as well.

It has been a long time since I read decent fantasy with a strong female MC. For the first book of a series Firewalker is light on world building so far. I like how the author slowly details the world through the eyes of the characters rather than long blocks of boring text.
