Glad to be back in the world of "Black Jack" Geary again even if this is way before his time.

I enjoy post-apocalyptic stories. So far this story has not been a disappointment. Good action and a decent plot line. So far not a bad MC with enough bad ass to keep the story interesting while possessing enough flaws to keep from overbalancing the story,

Might have to reduce my reading challenge this year. I am enjoying this Honor book now that we are to the combat part. Shame it's note Honor blowing up Sollie ships, but I can live with Mike (Duchess Gold Peak) filling in for her.

Starts slow but is starting to build towards the action.

Finally got back to the Honorverse.

Author should have spent some more time in developmental editing. He also needed to consult with a small arms and survival expert (not necessary the same person) before publishing this book. Otherwise have to smack the hell out of the "I Believe" button. I don't mind stretching reality, but when the author calls the bolt of a bolt-action rifle the "lever" the book loses some attraction for me.

This one is a little novella. Still too rapey for me, but the character interaction is decent.

POTUS sounds like a real douche nozzle in these books.

This has been a fun series.

I still wish the author had made the Declan books a separate series. I am not sure that I like Declan with Stacia rather than Caeco, time will tell.

Found most of this book to ok. Thankfully less teen angst than the previous book in this series.

This one is a little slower than previous books in the series. I am getting tired of teen angst. If want teen angst all I have to do is listen to my daughters or the SO's spawn. Not sure how much more of this teen drama I can take before I start skipping pages.
