A really different telling of fairy tales.

This is a good start on an interesting take on fairy tales. The first story is a slightly different take on Hansel & Gretel. I love Peabody's Free Ager version of Hansel & Gretel compared to the Borthers Grimm version.

Time for a break from Space Opera. A little erotic urban fantasy should do the trick.

It's nice when an author can show with deft ability both sides of a conflict without making either side "all bad" or "all good."

I really enjoy when an author I really enjoy reading lets his readers see where he might take the series (at least at that moment). I am glad that Weber has said he changed his mind about killing off Honor. Few authors adjust well in Space Opera when the pivotal character gets too something (in Honor's case too senior - she's a 4-star admiral for God's sake) to be on a death ride every book.

Time for something a little more mentally stimulating.

Thank God I got this for free, as I am banging my head on the table wondering why I torture myself reading these free romances.

Hard to get enough time to read like I want to lately.

These Saganami Island books are thick. I've been waiting to read this mini-offshoot series set in the Honorverse for a while.

I've been meaning to read this book for a while. It's listed as one of the books to read if you are a fan of military SciFi. Supposed to be in the same vein as Starship Troopers, but so far not as good to me.

I've wanted to read this book for years, but finding it in digital was an opportunity I could not pass.

The last two book have been almost complete action. Between the fight for the orbitals and the space battle of one little destroyer against impossible odds, I have not hardly been able to put the book down.
