As much as I like Declan, I still feel that the author should have made these books a separate series but loosely tied them together.

These books have a completely ridiculous premise, but they are so much fun. Kinda silly books, but the way they are written makes a quick and enjoyable read.

This book is a bit short. I wonder if the author wrote the previous book too long and split it into two parts? Still a fairly good read, and I like how the author is trying to balance his overpowered MC somewhat.

This book starts off right were the previous left off. I never imagined a bunch of vampires driven to angry mob status looking for the pitchforks and torches. Someone that kills a 900+ vampire with the slightest nudge would terrify a group of vampires that is sure.

Been a while since I read a physical book. I miss the tactile feel of paper in my hands and the smell of the pages.

After the horrible 50 Shades of Puke, I have been leery of any book featuring BDSM. I am glad I got this one for free otherwise I would have skipped it.

OK if I didn't have to sleep I could burn through this book in one sitting.

Oh boy this book grabs you from the beginning.

Finally got this book checked out from my local library.

Slow start but I am hoping that things are picking up now that the Salamander is on Haven.

Starting slow as all of the Honor books do.

This one started a little slow. Had a hard time not skipping ahead to the action.

Another fun series from this prolific author.

These Valens books are getting shorter.

I am assuming that Sean spent some time at least seeing this children although the author did not make that very clear. Sean's children at this point are all infants, so I suppose that not seeing the children would be detrimental to the child. However, I would think less of the MC if he neglected his children. Like the previous book this one feels rushed; the author needed more developmental editing.

These Valens books are getting shorter. I wonder if the author is losing either enthusiasm or ideas for the series.

I have to admit that I was dubious when I started this series. So far it has been a fun read.

Started the next book in this series and realized that I missed a book. So started reading this one.
