I'm 10 books ahead of my goal for the year, but 21 of the books were read by my daughter, so I'm eleven books behind. Gotta pick it up!

I'm 16 books ahead of schedule, but my wife has read 25 of them, so I'm 9 behind. I'm gaining ground!

25 books read by my wife and daughter. I'm 17 books ahead of my 135 goal, which puts me 8 behind. I'm still gaining ground.

21 books ahead, 25 books read by my wife, I'm only 4 behind my most ambitious schedule. I've set the goal of 135 this year. I'm feeling pretty confident.

24 books ahead, 27 read by my wife, so I'm 3 books behind. I'll catch up to my goal yet!

I finished my annual goal! 35 books ahead, 29 read by my wife, so I'm six ahead of my goal rate, with 29 books to go! Should be easy in 3 months.

Thank you Sheila! I'm actually 28 away from completion since my total includes 29 books read by my wife. We share a Kindle account.

I'm 37 books ahead of my goal. 35 books of this list have been read by my wife, so I'm actually 2 books ahead. That leaves at 121 books read on my way to 135, so I'm in good shape, with only 14 to go.

I've got 14 books planned to read by the end of the year and there may be more.

I have 173 books, of which 35 are my wife's, so that leaves me at 138, officially over my goal! Hooray!

I'm at 156 and I'll read at least another 4 books before the end of the year! Of y 186, 33 were read by my wife.

Last day of the year! 200 books, 42 from my wife's reading list, leave me at 158, well over my 135 goal.

I'll write a blog post about the best 5 of those 158.
