I try to increase my number every year. Last year my goal was 30, and I read 33, so I wanted to push myself a bit further this year.

Having a kindle really helps :) As do audiobooks.

I am so impressed with how much you read!!! :)

Thanks!

It's been really interesting so far. There is no shortage of books by people of color that I want to read. There are so many I can't keep up. But the biggest obstacle? I keep getting so many books by white writers for free, or asked to review them, or on sale on Amazon. It's eye-opening how books by white writers are PROMOTED more actively than others.

For the rest of 2018, I am NOT ALLOWED to read any more books by white people ha ha so I can keep up with my goal of 50%
