First time author? No
To-Be-Continued? Yes
Review: This book is ballsy with a dark, violent and brutal world. The vampire are depicted as sadistic creatures that thrive on human pain, fear and blood. Soooo, no sparkly 'nice' guy around. Parallel universe, magic and vampire politics makes it a nice package. You just have to read this book for the right reasons.

First time author? Nope
To-Be-Continued? Decidedly so!
Review: It's no secret that I'm not a huge fan of Cat & Bones but I absolutely loved the Night Huntress World books, I was hopeful that these would fall into the latter category and I wasn't disappointed!
Vlad and Leila are absolutely perfect for each other, I really enjoyed this part of their journey and I can't wait for the next book. I was really happy when I got to the end and realised it would be an ongoing journey for the pair and not a quick one book HEA.

First time author? Yes.
To-Be-Continued? Undecided yet, but probably.
Review: This was a good book, but not something that I'm just freaking out over and ready to get the next book in the series. I'm honestly not even sure if I'll get the rest of the series. I probably will, but like I said, it's not a big priority for me. It has a lot of potential, though, so I won't completely give up on it.

First Time Author: Yes
To-Be-Continued? Yes
Review: I really enjoyed this book and the world that the author has created. The characters are funny and unforgettable. I really like Merit and her voice in the story. She really comes into her own and turns into one kick ass vamp by the end! No matter how much she tries to fight it.

Review: Unholy Ghosts was great, if not a little unusual as I've said in my review. I didn't like how Chess was addicted to drugs but everything else in the book was fascinating, including the world building and focus on ghosts.

To-Be-Continued? maybe not, but i got the first and the second book together so i think i'll read it just because i have it at home.
Review: Well this was big disappointment...What is it with books that have gorgeous covers, but the story is never good. When i start a new book i usually dont read what its about. I like surprises :D well this time i just read a little, part that said angels are coming to earth to fight evil forses, of course i was thinking young angiel kicking some evil ass, but this book was more about puppy love. The main character was more obsessed about her guy then anything else and i think when demon comes and bite her from the ass she wouldn't notice it.

First time author? No

Review: Harper Connelly was hit by a lightning after that she can find the dead and connect with them. She can tell how they died and what they felt at that moment.
I had hard time to connect with the characters in the book. They didn't seem real and the story was little predictable. I was hoping more, because Sookie Stackhouse series was so great.

Title/Author: Grave Mercy by R.L. LaFevers
Series: His Fair Assassin
Read: 20.11.12
Rating: ★★★★
First time author? yes
To-Be-Continued? yes
Review: As much as i enjoyed the story, i had a problem in the begining with the main character. She seems too eager to take life and don't value others life, but as the story goes on she grows and i start actually liking her. She starts valuing life more and i feel she thinks before she takes a life. She is not blindly killing people because of her orders. It was intriguing book with lot of spying and intrigues.

Rating: ★★
First time author? yes
To-Be-Continued? Don't know yet
Review: It's the first time i'm reading from Karen Mahoney and i have to say half of the book was waste of time. It was too slow and most of the time the main character was whining how different she is. Why can't you just enjoy the fact you are not like everyone else. Embrace your inner freak :) The other half of the book moved along faster and she didn't have time for pity party, so that part i was actually enjoying. I'm not sure if I'll be continuing the series.

Review:It reminded me a lot of the old Grimm Fairy tales. Not the sanitized versions, the originals. I liked the storyline and plot, and I may one day read another in the series. I'm just not overly eager to do it anytime soon. I'm not sure that I'm the target audience any longer.

Title/Author: Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James
Series: Fifty Shades
Read: July 6, 2012
Rating: ★★★★
First-time Author? yes
To-Be-Continued? yes
After all the hype and reading some reviews, I vowed not to read this series. I just don't understand the attraction to BDSM so I stay away from it if I'm aware it is coming down the pike. However in order to complete a reading challenge I needed to read FSOG so I figured what the hell I'd give it a shot. Surprisingly I enjoyed this story involving a dysfunctional relationship between mega-wealthy Christian Grey and naive virgin, Anastasia Steele. I admit that for the first 8 chapters or so, I didn't understand Christian's attraction to mousy, clumsy Ana. When it finally dawned on me why he was interested in her, I totally understood. Though I totally got her attraction to him...forbidden fruit, gorgeous, chasing her, etc.
Christian is an enigmatic, captivating character and I liked him more and more as he gave into Ana and her vulnerabilities. Though I must admit (view spoiler)
And yes, everyone is correct, the book could definitely have done with an editor. Either way, with the cliff hanger ending, I will be continuing the series sooner rather than later.

Review: I am not usually a big fan of shifter books, but this one was really good. I think it may be cause it combined shifters with my unnatural obsession with the Highlands and longing to look at good looking men in kilts. The last 20% of the book was action packed and I couldn't put it down.

Review: Water is a self-published book that is free to download on Smashwords, Amazon, etc. and I absolutely loved it. There's a great setting here, about a girl who is held captive and can control the elements. The story continually evolves and I just found myself enthralled by it.
The emotion within the book was extremely raw, and some disturbing things happen later on that you can't help but get affected by. It's not often that days after I've finished a book that the feelings it left me with are still there. I really want to pick up the sequel soon so I can find out what happens.

Review: Blood bound was interesting but kind of slow-paced, and the story line wrapped up a little too neatly. It was a good read with interesting world building, but at nearly 500 pages, it took quite long to get through. I wish there was a bit more action for such an interesting premise about Liv as a powerful blood tracker but maybe it's just first in the series syndrome again.

Review: Moon Dwellers was a dystopian, similar to Hunger Games (class based system, different sectors, political struggles) read about a teenager called Adele who escapes prison. The first half of the book felt a bit like prison break, but with lots of character development and world building. There's some great characters in here and lots of building up towards an epic finale. I received this book for review and really enjoyed it.

Reason I ask is that I completely forgot that this challenge started this month and only just realised that I've got the books to do it this year.
My problem is that the only book I have a hope in hell of reading before the end of this month for this challenge is If I Stay, which is only 2 books long.
Does 2 books makes a series????
