Collections of poetry are always so darned confusing, but I think you should receive +15 oldies points for this task -- the primary poetry book was published in the (1762-1861) category & the poet died in 1861 (and therefore the secondary poems all had to have been written in the (1762-1861) category as well).

I thought it was great, though a bit archaic. It was a somewhat nostalgic read as it seemed oldfashioned compared to newer fantasy, but I would love to read the other books in the series.

Review: Connie Willis has a distinctive style. She has several events occurring at the same time, but with the viewpoint of only one of the characters. This can be seen as realistic, humorous, or confusing & frustrating. I’ve read her shorter length fiction and this style works well for shorter length. For novel length, it can get confusing. Recommended for time travel fans who can read the novel over a very short timeframe.

I don't know when I have laughed at a book so much! A bit dated now but for those of us who can appreciate the contrast between the time when he was writing (almost 20 years ago) and the way things are now, that's interesting in itself.
