Hi Sallie(Shuga)!
I'm going on holiday next week so I'll bring with me "Turn it up" and "Her best friend's lover". Hopefully I'll read both of them.
But I'll be without an internet connection (I really need a break), so I'll make my comments only when I'll be back.
Ciao,
Ana

Okay! I'm looking forward to it. I hope you are enjoying your vacation. =0)

School's out for summer:Insurgent
Fire up the BBQ:Hush This is on my TBR list, too. Let me know what you think of it.
Summer Solstic..."
thanks Brett. now I dont' have to go buy/borrow more books! Yay

Sorry I didn’t get this posted this morning, it took me a little longer than expected. I had a great time going through your shelves and some categories just seemed to fill themselves. ;D But then Summer Solstice on down stumped me for a while. I hope you enjoy your recs.
Schools Out for Summer!
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins – I loved this series and would definitely recommend getting to this as soon as possible.
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare – I’ve only read one of Clare’s books, but remember enjoying it at the time. I thought this would make a good secondary rec, since you seem to like her books.
Flag Day, June 14th
Plague Town by Dana Fredsti – I noticed you like Stephen King and also enjoyed a Walking Dead book, so I thought I’d recommend my favorite find of May. Ashley survives a virus that turns many people in her secluded college town into the walking dead. Recruited by the military, she helps eliminate the threat before it can spread.
Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye by Victoria Laurie – I always look forward to reading another entry in Laurie’s paranormal mystery series and suggest trying out the first book to see if you like it. Abby gets off to a rough start with skeptical Dutch, but he’s part of what makes this series great.
Don't Forget the Sunscreen
Inside Out by Lauren Dane – I recently read Laid Bare and can’t wait to get my hands on another book in this series.
When You Dare by Lori Foster -- Foster’s first book in her newest series is certainly worth a read.
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream
Sweet Talk or Delicious by Susan Mallery – I’ve only read the first three books in her Fool’s Gold series, but I really enjoyed them. I keep eyeing both of these books at the library and will probably pick one of them up soon.
Fire up the BBQ
Some Like It Hot by Louisa Edwards – I’ve seen Edwards recommended a lot lately and plan to read one of her books soon.
River Marked by Patricia Briggs – A lot of the action takes place outside. Patricia Briggs is one of my favorite authors and highly recommend reading this soon.
Summer Solstice Wow this was a hard category, most book descriptions don’t come right out and tell you the season they are set unless it’s a holiday.
Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard – Linda Howard is one of my favorite authors and this book always makes me laugh. I can’t remember if it’s set exactly in the summer, but there is mention of mowing the lawn, so it’s close. LOL.
Gay Pride Month
Love in the Time of Dragons by Katie MacAlister – Colorful cover. Katie MacAlister has some great humorous PNR out there. One of the things I loved about this is how KM managed to plausibly turn information from her first two dragon series on its head and make you root for a previous villain.
Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling -- Okay, so this falls a little outside of your normal reading patterns, falling completely in the fantasy genre. The relationship between the two main characters starts slow and grows more romantic later in the series, but the world Flewelling has created is fascinating and if you're looking for something a little different ...
Old Maids Day, June 4th
Storm's Heart by Thea Harrison – Thankfully PNR makes it easy to find an older hero/heroine. LOL. Dragon Bound was such a brilliant book, and I really enjoyed this follow up. I’m currently reading the fourth book, Oracle’s Moon and loving it. Read this, quick! If for no other reason than to move you closer to book 4. LOL.
Changeless by Gail Carriger -- I just love Carriger’s sense of humor.
Sand in Your Shorts
Rogue by Rachel Vincent – I keep meaning to continue this series, since it’s received raves from quite a few of my friends. I’d be willing to give it a try this month.
Best Friends Day, June 8th
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead – I’d be willing to give this a try too. Just let me know so I can get it from the library!

Schools Out for Summer! -two from your TBR SwitchedThe Romance Readers' Book Club or one from both of our TBR'sThe Hunger Games - this is on my PIFM list and I will read it this month - let me know if you want to join me!
Flag Day, June 14th - military or a firefighter. This is the first in a really, really good military series The Unsung Hero orTrial by Fire which is a series I just started last month
Don't Forget the Sunscreen - one from your TBR All Hallows Heartbreaker or Too Hot To Touch which I just finished book three of this series last month
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream - this is book 2 to the too hot to touch from above Some Like It Hot or Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder this series is filled with awesome recipes yummy!!
Fire up the BBQ - I must be hungry I went with the food theme.... DeliciousThe Diva Runs Out of Thyme
Summer Solstice - Summer SistersThe Perfect Play
Gay Pride Month - this is the third in the series and a quick read (all three are quick reads) not too bad to read out of orderPulled Long or this had at least three colors on the cover Bound By Blood
Old Maids Day, June 4th - Eve and Roarke are both older and this is the first book in their series which just gets better....oh and Summerset and Eve's scenes together crack me up!!Naked in Death or Three to Get Deadly you have to just love Grandma Mazur - everyone should have someone like this in their life!!
Buddy Reads: Pick at least one from their TBR.
Sand in Your Shorts - this one I have from the library and will prob read the first week of June if you want to join meHead Over Heels or Summer Light Let me know if you want to join me for either of these
Best Friends Day, June 8th - I'm kinda taking liberties but friends/family do play a role and I really think you should start this series (I've already read this one) Night Pleasures
Bonus Pick: Not necessary but nice.
Father's Day, June 17th,
Killing Me Softly

Schools Out for Summer! - I promise the hype is worth this series..."
Hi Lady Allison ~ thanks for the wonderful rec's! I will definitely get to The Hunger Games and Can't Stand The Heat. I have a buddy read of Game of Thrones in another group so not sure how many book's I will be able to get to. I could maybe swing a buddy read of Somebody To Love if we do it at the end of the month. Thanks again!!

Here are your picks....
Schools Out for Summer! - Select a Young Adult book, a book with a child or children, or one with a vacation.
The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olymp..."
Great picks Lekshmy, since I am going on vacation and not going to be home for a while, I need to read something I can take with me. Unfortunately the Buddy picks are ones that I would have to get from the library. I bet you could find someone to buddy read that with you though.
Anyways, I just finish loading The Lightning Thief in my e-reader for my oldest daughter. So I might read that, or maybe I will take one of the good old paperbacks out off the shelf and read either 16 Lighthouse Road or Heart of the Dragon or Outlaw Love - Decisions, decisions :)
I just don't know. I have 2 days to decide.
Thanks again for the great recs though.

Think I will definitely get to Sparks Fly as it's been in my TBR's forever!
Spying in High Heels I also have readily available, so will give that a go.
Also realised I have never read a book by Susan Mallery so will try and get to one of hers.

I'm trying desperately to finish the books I started by tomorrow night! I know I will finish the audio book, I guess I should get back to reading...

Thanks Suzanne! Great choices. I am going to commit to One For The Money, but I see a few others on the list I may get to. I added several to my TBR.

Sorry I didn’t get this posted this morning, it took me a little longer than expected. I had a great time going through your shelves and some categories just seemed to fill themselves...."
Hey Daffodil, thanks for the recs! They were well done...I couldn't pick what I wanted to read! First shame on me for not marking Mocking jay as read, I read it when it first came out and it was an amazing series!
Here are my definitely's...
•Delicious by Susan Mallery- I just the newest in the fool's gold (I was lucky enough to become one of her Fool's Gold Varsity Cheerleaders so one of the perks is getting the books early) and I'm in a major Susan Mallery mood!
•Rogue by Rachel Vincent- If you want to do a buddy read with this one I would love to get back into the series!
Books I will try to get to
•Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare - I have started it and just never finished it...it's good, I just keep getting distracted!
•Plague Town by Dana Fredsti- I want to try something new! And this looks really interesting:-)
Thanks again for the recs, I am going to be adding several new books to the TBR list!
Shellbelle

I just loved your recs! I think I´m going to read Tangle of Need - I hope it will arrive here until June 15.
I also boughtOne Small Thing, so if you want to do the buddy read, let me know "
Hi Regina - I'm glad you liked the picks! I'd love to do a buddy read of One Small Thing, I was definitely planning on reading it this month anyway. I'm pretty open this month as far as time goes, so let me know when would be a good time for you and we'll plan on it! :)

Schools Out for Summer! Stray by Rachel Vincent (Really enjoyed this series. About a kick-butt Female who is called home to help her pride)

Flag Day When You Dare by Lori Foster (Just read it and loved it!)

Don't Forget the Sunscreen Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley (Steamy Story - I am a big fan of Kristen Ashley)

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream Would-Be Witch by Kimberly Frost (I really enjoyed this series so far. Tammy Jo makes Cake's etc. but wants, no needs to branch out and get away from her boss. She also finds out a family secret, she is a witch, who manages to screw up every spell she casts.)

Fire up the BBQ Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep (Gin,the heroine, has a weakness for cooking! You might gain weight just reading it.)

Summer Solstice Shadow of the Vampire by Meagan Hatfield (I don't remember if this happened in summer or early fall. It is a hot read and will cause enough heat for a summer read!)

Gay Pride Month The Mage in Black by Jaye Wells (I have enjoyed this series so far)

Old Maids Day Hammered by Kevin Hearne (Haven't been a huge fan but my friends say it's great!)

Buddy Reads
Sand in Your Shorts Angels of Darkness by Ilona Andrews (Ilona Andrews, Nalini Singh, and Meljean Brook do I really need to say more? lol Great authors!)

Best Friends Day The Fine Art of Truth or Dare by Melissa Jensen (This is hard b/c I have tons I would recommend but it's a buddy read. We only have one that is the same and I used it on the first buddy read. This is one I have wanted to read and it has good reviews.)

Bonus Pick
Father's Day On the Edge by Ilona Andrews (by Ilona Andrews, do I really need to say more? Well Declan becomes a Father figure for Rose's brothers.

I hope you enjoy your picks. I tried to keep to your TBR list. I love that you seem to read about every genre."

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream - Sweet Spot A contemporary romance about sisters who run a desserts bakery. This book is my favorite of the trilogy.
Fire up the BBQ - Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy takes place 'outside' mostly, so i guess it fits.
Summer Solstice - Summer in Eclipse Bay by Jayne Ann Krentz. I saw this on your TBR and it brought back memories of reading this trilogy!!
Gay Pride Month - On the Edge by Ilona Andrews. I see at least 3 colors of the rainbow in there :D. But I saw this on your TBR shelf. It's an awesome story and i hope you're able to read and enjoy it this month!
Old Maids Day, June 4th - Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh. I saw you had her Psy/Changeling series on your shelves but not the Guild hunter series. Raphael is millenia older than Elena :D
