30.2 What I wanted to be meets What I became
One of my fondest memories of childhood is sitting on the curb with the neighborhood kids and watching the high school band practice parade-marching up and down the street. I was especially taken with how much fun the drummers in the front row were having -- and decided I wanted to be a drummer when I grew up. However, I never learned to play the drums. I became a pianist instead. And I also work in an office.
So I read a book about drumming, and then a reread of a book about an office worker – or that’s what he thinks he is.

School's Out: Bridging Out-Of-School Literacies with Classroom Practice by Glynda Hull. I read this book because I am a preservice English language arts teacher and I am passionate about education!!! This is a book on literacy and how it relates to education both in and out of the classroom.

The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks
***Goodreads Author***
It doesn't come across as a scary book, but it ended up being a thriller and I jumped at the end when the "Guardian" came to the rescue. Sorry, trying not to spoil it!
