I read it last year and really liked it! You should give it a try and it involves magic!

This is a pretty old book but it's a good read.

4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Game for Anything by Bella Andre
I saw this one based on my read shelf and I liked it! Hope you'll too.

5. Elite 8: Something About You by Julie James
This is the best-seller book by Julie James and as you haven't read any of her books before, this is a great book to start with!

6. Nutty as a fruitcake: The Picture of Dorian Gray
An unusual genre for you (and not too familiar to me , as well) but it is a great book!

7. Final 4: Whispers in the Dark by Maya Banks
This is the latest book published by Maya Banks and I have the first book of this series on my TBR!

2. Non Compos Mentis: New York to Dallas by J.D. Robb. You seem to be a fan of the series, having read the previous 32 books and Eve loves her badge and the law its supposed to protect.
3. (Not So) Sweet 16: Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard. I loved this alpha male and thought the heroine was witty and fun. Great read.
4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle. Based on what I've seen in your lists, I thought this rec might prove to be something of interest
5. Elite 8: Fair Play by Deirdre Martin. You've read 2 in the series, the 1st and latest, so I thought this might be a good time to see what happens with the middle books.
6. Nutty as a fruitcake: And One Last Thing ... by Molly Harper. I loved this book, didn't think I would at first and its funny!
7. Final 4: Nightfall by Ellen Connor. This is a post apocalyptic series that I found rather intriguing.

I found The Iron King by Julie Kagawa in your TBR pile. Not probably magic, but close enough.

I found an author I really enjoy in your TBR pile, so picked one from about 16 years ago; A Whisper of Roses by Teresa Medeiros.

4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Go to your GR recommendations and find a book that you think your pickee would enjoy but that you've never heard about before.
I really love the GR Recommends, so this one was particularly fun. I found As You Desire by Connie Brockway. It looked like something you may enjoy.

I saw a few of this series on your TBR, but couldn't tell if you'd read the first one or not [love racing?] Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy.

You may not like this next one. I didn't think I would, but was so...oo good; The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.

I found Spell of the Highlander by one of my favorite authors - Karen Marie Moning. It is the latest in this series and I couldn't see where you had read it.

Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake I absolutely loved this book because it has humor, romance and a great characters.


2. Non Compos Mentis: Book with a plot that deals with the law, religion or magic
Clockwork Angel this book is the reason I am so late getting you your picks. I couldn't put it down.

3. (Not So) Sweet 16: Book published at least 16 years ago, with an alpha male or with a main character that's over 40.
FrankensteinGone With the Wind I picked a couple of classics for you, one from my TBR and one from your TBR.

4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Go to your GR recommendations and find a book that you think your pickee would enjoy but that you've never heard about before.

Catching Fire I saw that you read The Hunger Games and liked it so you have to continue the series. This one was my favorite.
