I'm going to have to look through the rest of the picks to see which ones I can fit in this month. A Knight in Shining Armor is already on a couple of challenges so that one is a definite. Thanks again, Cheryl

I'm so glad you liked the picks Cheryl! I need to start Midnight In Austenland tomorrow so that I can get it back to the library in time. I've been saving it for March and I can't renew it. I hope that's not too soon for you. If it is, we can always chat about it whenever you can get to it :)

Here ya go! For most of them you have a choice. Hope you like the picks.

1. Mad as a March hare: The Duff by Kody Keplinger

This is a book that I just love and love! Highly recommended!
2. Non Compos Mentis: Beastly by Alex Flinn

I read it last year and really liked it! You should give it a try and it involves magic!
3. (Not So) Sweet 16: The Cinderella Deal by Jennifer Crusie

This is a pretty old book but it's a good read.
4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Game for Anything by Bella Andre

I saw this one based on my read shelf and I liked it! Hope you'll too.
5. Elite 8: Something About You by Julie James

This is the best-seller book by Julie James and as you haven't read any of her books before, this is a great book to start with!
6. Nutty as a fruitcake: The Picture of Dorian Gray

An unusual genre for you (and not too familiar to me , as well) but it is a great book!
7. Final 4: Whispers in the Dark by Maya Banks

Sana

Tiffany, sorry for being so late, I've been really swamped but I'll have a list for you by tomorrow.

A few people I couldn't contact because their profiles were private or weren't accepting messages. Hopefully they will post by tomorrow.

Here are your picks! Hope you like 'em, if not let me know and I'll be happy to re-pick =D
1. Mad as a March hare: The Duff by Kody Keplinger

Thanks for the picks, Sana. They're great. I try to read as many of my picks as possible each month, so I'll try to get them all in some time during the month. lol I'll start with the ones I already have then work my way through the ones I can get at the library, B&N or my NOOK buddies. I can definitely do the buddy read. Let me know when you'd like to start.

Okay, I finally had a chance to go through your books properly and make some recommendations. I hope there is something in the list below that you would like to read in March.
1. Mad as a ..."
Thanks for the great ideas! I just read a Kristin Higgin's book and really liked it, so I think that I'll go with Just One of the Guys for this month. Thanks!

Finding picks for you was a challenge, but I hope you find something of interest from the list below.
1. Mad as a March hare: The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly.
2. Non Compos Mentis: New York to Dallas by J.D. Robb. You seem to be a fan of the series, having read the previous 32 books and Eve loves her badge and the law its supposed to protect.
3. (Not So) Sweet 16: Mr. Perfect by Linda Howard. I loved this alpha male and thought the heroine was witty and fun. Great read.
4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle. Based on what I've seen in your lists, I thought this rec might prove to be something of interest
5. Elite 8: Fair Play by Deirdre Martin. You've read 2 in the series, the 1st and latest, so I thought this might be a good time to see what happens with the middle books.
6. Nutty as a fruitcake: And One Last Thing ... by Molly Harper. I loved this book, didn't think I would at first and its funny!
7. Final 4: Nightfall by Ellen Connor. This is a post apocalyptic series that I found rather intriguing.

1. Mad as a March hare: Book with an original premise, a funky title or set in Canada
I selected The Buddha in the Attic by Julie Otsuka.
2. Non Compos Mentis: Book with a plot that deals with the law, religion or magic
I found The Iron King by Julie Kagawa in your TBR pile. Not probably magic, but close enough.
3. (Not So) Sweet 16: Book published at least 16 years ago, with an alpha male or with a main character that's over 40.
I found an author I really enjoy in your TBR pile, so picked one from about 16 years ago; A Whisper of Roses by Teresa Medeiros.
4. The lights are on, but nobody's home: Go to your GR recommendations and find a book that you think your pickee would enjoy but that you've never heard about before.
I really love the GR Recommends, so this one was particularly fun. I found As You Desire by Connie Brockway. It looked like something you may enjoy.
5. Elite 8: Book with a sports theme (go Eli!) or a best seller/super popular book.
I saw a few of this series on your TBR, but couldn't tell if you'd read the first one or not [love racing?] Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy.
6. Nutty as a fruitcake: Recommend a book from a genre your pickee wouldn't usually read, a book you thought you wouldn't like that you ended up enjoying or a funny/light read.
You may not like this next one. I didn't think I would, but was so...oo good; The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.
7. Final 4: Post apocalyptic book, latest book published by one of your pickee's favorite authors, book published on a leap year.
I found Spell of the Highlander by one of my favorite authors - Karen Marie Moning. It is the latest in this series and I couldn't see where you had read it.
8. Neither rhyme nor reason: Go to your pickee's TBR, go to a page at random, and pick the first book that caught your fancy (no thinking!) If by any chance that book is #19 in a series which your pickee hasn't started, pick another page and try again.
Randomness is so fun - let's try The Taming of Mei Lin by Jeannie Lin.
Next up is the buddy read:
9. Buddy Read...Chicken or Egg?
If you are from Team Chicken {c}, recommend a standalone you think both of you would like to read.
I'm team chicken and picked something I'd love to read and have heard is super fun - Bossypants by the Queen of Fun Tina Fey. Can't get much more standalone than that!
Enjoy ... I hope you find something you like for this March Madness Challenge
Happy Reading!
