National Book Award
Story of a Girl by Sara Zarr 192 pages
While I enjoyed this book, I really don't see anything award-worthy. The story was good, but not that special. As a whole, nothing really stood out for me in the book. It seemed a bit rushed.

Also, I do not have the same number of pages as you have. I will check the list of your postings again, but could you let me know if you see any posting errors?

I looked at the list that I emailed you. The Amulet of Samarkand was on it.
So I am going to assume that my points are at 129. I looked back all my stuff, again, and it all still comes out to 129.
If I missed a book, I don't understand how I was coming out with 5 more points than you were.
You and I were at the same total when I hit 105 points (which was after The Amulet of Samarkand). There have only been 2 more posts since then (3 books total).

For 3.3 I just added a discussion here.
And for 5.1, I had added a discussion here. Sorry for not linking to it earlier.

I thought Cassia was extremely brave in leaving for the uknown just to find Ky. She didn't know whether he was alive or dead but just knew that she had to find him. I liked the book and definitely enjoyed the ending, which kept us hanging just a bit. Looking forward to reading Reached.

I read this book for review but had to read Another Faust first for the backstory. I really enjoyed book #1. I didn't have time to read book #2, Another Pan, but heard that I didn't need to before reading Another Jekyll, Another Hyde, so I skipped it for the time being. I will definitely go back and read it because I loved books #1 and #2, and I think the series is a great take on an old folk tale.
I'm also claiming +5 for Kellee's Challenge (witches) on Another Faust and Hex Hall for a total of +10.
