Jen Lynn | 24 comments Considering I have never kept track of how many books I read in a year, I'm basing this off of what I read since joining Goodreads last August. Let's see how it goes!

My goal for 2012 is 50 books.

Yes it really is up to you. I would count them. I am an English major so we do novels and what not in classes so I most likely will count them in my count

I'm in the same boat. With my double major I end up reading a lot for my actual English classes and then I have to read everything that my students read in my practicum classroom!

Teneal | 227 comments I set myself 20 books at the beginning of the year. Then I changed it to 30 after I started using this site and began to read more and more. I have just recently changed it to 50! So needless to say goodreads is really encouraging me to read more and more :) I love it! I'm currently five books ahead of my goal of 50. I'm going to track mine here.

Hayley (hayleydanielle) I really didn't keep up with it monthly. I just read a book every day or every two days. I have a lot of reading time. I'm a senior in high school, and it's the easiest year for me. I read through most of my classes. And no, I'm not failing! Lol. I'm an honor roll student and I'm in all the academic clubs.

oohhh, so wish I came home and read all night lol. enjoy now !! I have 4 kids - 20,17,7,6 and I am happy they are all readers too. My 7 and 6 yr old get in my bed and we read every night together. My 20yr old daughter was just complaining that work and school slows down reading time lol. She also wants summer breaks back - told her welcome to being an adult.
