Hello, everyone.
I am O.Z. Red - an artist , graphic painter .
And the author too.
Recently I've published a graphic novel in verses - " The Adventure of the worm Joe" .
When I was writing this - the rhymes came in huge blocks in various verse patterns. I was just choosing from them .
But no . That wasn't like the Mining and enrichment factory work . Closer - to the party with fireworks & all the rest .
Literature is fun & bliss . For a little while.
And then, as always - after minutes of joy - hours of editing and self-criticism.
Well - some don't share these things - and the others enjoy the heavy burden of self-abuse critic even more than - the joy of pristine creation. Minds - are vary .
I only hope that - that initial vivid & sparkling feelings hasn't swept away by later on word & style brushing. In any case, looking at this book , a smile spread across my face, and a strange feeling of irrelevant happiness emerged . Don't ask me why . . I'm subjective.
Thanks & be well .

Hello, I'm Mika and I am an artist living in Upstate NY. I love graphics novels that are gory, not your typical storyline, and that has a different art style. I just finished the entire Preacher and Sandman collection, and I am currently reading Something is Killing The Children.
Hi! Sarah here. I'm currently doing my Masters related to the use of Graphic Novels in the language classrooms. Comics have been part of my childhood, always loved the classics (Calvin & Hobbes, Peanuts) as a kid. I'm so into Graphic Novels, some of the greatest I've read are Fun Home, Persepolis, Maus, Blankets... currently on the hunt for to add more to my list for both pleasure and to inspire me for my thesis. Reach out if you have some good ones to recommend!
Hey folks! I'm Shawna. I love graphic novels. I'm hoping for:a) People to geek out about comics with! Recommendations are welcome. Let's geek out!
b) Strategies to write/draw (resources and group recommendations welcome!)
Mini-background: Reading "The Funnies" in the paper. Writing groups taught by published authors who introduced me to "the graphic novel". 10 years of inconsistent post-secondary schooling where comics were sometimes studied. 1 class in 2020/2021 that convinced me I could make intelligible comics using shaky doodles and my imagination.
Hi, I am Dean and apart from growing up with DC comics in particular, I am interested in how graphic novels can be used to improve literacy.
Hello folks - another Greg here! I'm into a wide range of graphic novels and comics from manga to 2000 AD and Judge Dredd.
Hi,I'm an artist living in Los Angeles. I paint and create books that combine my allegorical imagery and short prose.

Hi! I'm Sadie or Snail. I like sequential art, and I read a lot of it. I've been a manga and graphic novel for a long time, got into webtoons and manhwa more recently, and am currently taking a deep dive into comics. I love discussing whether its analysis or gushing about our favorite characters, so feel free to drop a friend request!
Hello! I'm an artist and love all forms of graphic novels, wordless novels (like Shaun Tan's The Arrival, anything by Lynn Ward, Frans Masereel). I love Will Eisner, Dave Mc Keen, R.Crumb, Dave Cooper, Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis) and Neil Gaiman (to name a few, but there are more).I have also published two books, Pulling Weeds from a Cactus Garden and Fairy Tale Remnants , surreal fairy tales for grown ups.

Hello! It's been a long time since I've read comics or graphic novels, but am falling back in love with them as super speed after re-reading Maus. Started reading Saga and am in love with it! Also found a comic called Clear that I just can't get past the art. Anyways, I'm rambling now, but excited to be here and learn about new comics and novels!
Hi! I’m Britta, thanks for the add. I saw this group and thought it would be a nice way to find some hidden gems. I usually enjoy horror comics, no serial killers - I like to keep it fictional. I enjoy a good fantasy, or science fiction comic as well. I also really like strong female characters like Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Nice to meet everyone.

Hello! I work in a library and am a big fan of graphic novels. I do read my fair share of fiction novels and nonfiction, but do try and pepper in a solid amount of graphic novels and manga in between. I read them physically when I can but digitally for the most part through Hoopla and ComicsPlus via my library. I also keep at least one on my dedicated "picks shelf" at the branch I work at.
Take care!
Hiya life long fan of graphic novels (esp. franco-belgian) and currently working on an art degree, just here for recommendations and like-minded discussions. looking forward :)
Hi fellow comic book and graphic novel enthusiasts! I'm a longtime comic reader from the New York Metro area. I grew up reading comics at a very young age thanks to my father. He used comics to get me to read.My favorite creators are Jack Kirby, Wally Wood, John Buscema and many others. My favorite comic is Fantastic Four, but for the last several years I have been focusing on independent and classic underground comics that I overlooked in the past. I live in a very lively comic area in the U.S.A. so there are comic shows almost every weekend that I frequent. I also enjoy comic art books and books about comic creators.
I hope to learn about other titles and artists from this group that I may have never heard of or considered.
I've been using Goodreads for quite awhile. My local comic shop encouraged us to join the League of Comic Geeks site. Does anyone else use that comics social site here? My profile name is @Hypathio7

Hi everyone, my name is Nick! I’m from North Carolina. I’ve always had an affinity for superheroes as a kid, but haven’t really gotten into comic books and graphic novels until recently. I seem to be drawn more towards the less popular heroes as my 2 favorites are The Punisher and Green Lantern. Anyways, thanks for accepting me into the group. I can’t wait to connect with more people!

Luke 3:15-17 (English Standard Version): 15 As the people were in expectation, and all were questioning in their hearts concerning John, whether he might be the Christ, 16 John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 17 His winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”
