I have looked quickly through your books :) we have a lot in common ... I will send your books as soon as I read D.G.'s posts which looks pretty loooong :) hope you enjoy this challenge ...

Here are my picks for you, Becky.
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Rachel Vincent
2. New Series: Evermore
3. New Genre: Handle with Care (not really sure what genre this actually is but it dosen't really seem to be something you would read)
B. Better You - From their TBR
1. Lose Weight: Nevermore
2. Save Money: Vampire Academy
3. Get Organized: Still Alice
C. Enjoy Life More
1 & 2. Confessions of a Shopaholic and Addicted

Hello LethalLovely !I'll be giving you my picks - well- as soon as I become your friend :))

Thought I'd better get on this while I remembered! Hope you can find something in here you like. Sorry, I didn't find many on your TBR - as I haven't read a lot of them. :(
A: Something new
1: New author: Julie Garwood - For the Roses. If you like this one, there are a couple of others in the series.
2: New series: Julia Quinn, The Bridgertons - The Duke And I. There are 8 books in this series.
3: New genre: - for this, I went with fantasy, as you have only a few on your shelves. It was a bit of a gamble, so I went with one of my favourite heroes of all time: The Thief. There are 4 books in this series.
B: Better You
1: Lose weight: like me, you read the occasional weighty book - so I went with the longest book on your TBR that I'd enjoyed: Graceling.
2: Save money: Winter Moon - sometimes an anthology is just what I need to clear my head, when it's too full of stuff, or too tired to think through a whole book.
3: Get organised: Visions of Heat - the Psy-Changeling series is worth continuing.
Enjoy Life More:
1: Fun 1: Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot. Light and fun. It's the first in a series about these characters.
2: Fun 2: I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You. First in a series of YA novels about a girls' spy school.

This was a bit tough for me since our tastes are actually quite different.
A. Something new
1. New Author: Stranger by Megan Hart. Contemporary romance, no tortured hero, not quite your normal boy meets girl story, but not that far out of the box either. No paranormal activity here.
2. New Series: Dark Days Series by Jocelynn Drake, starting with book one (though there is actually a short story prequel as well)Nightwalker. I devoured this whole series this summer and really enjoyed it. More urban fantasy than romance.
3. New Genre: Okay, so you read pretty much everything, how about a memoir: Sh*t My Dad Says. I haven't read it yet, but I'm on the hold list at the library and I've heard it's very funny.
B. Better You
1. Lose Weight: I'm going to go with Lover Enshrined because it's pretty lengthy and you seem to be working your way through the BDB series and not hating it. This is the next book in the series and on your TBR
2. Save Money: Your TBR is huge, so I'm guessing that you don't own them all, but it's impossible to know which ones you might own that you could save money by reading, so I'm going to recommend Lady Sophia's Lover because I really enjoyed it and you've read a ton of historical romance. (it's not the first book in the Bow Street Runner's series, but that book's not on your TBR nor your read lists...LSL is the first in the series that I read and don't remember it being a problem that I read them out of order)
3. Get Organized: Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood is the oldest book on your list that I even recognized.
C. Enjoy Life More
1. Changeless because you seemed to enjoy Soulless so much (5 stars!)
2. Twilight because there are very few books that I've read and enjoyed that are on your TBR, you like paranormal and young adult and I really liked Edward and the Cullens so much more on paper than I do on the big screen.
Hope you find something you like for this month!

I hope you enjoy the books I have picked for you!!! Here is your list:
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Shelley Bradley- Bound and Determined (Sullivan #1)

2. New Series: The Rest Falls Away. Colleen Gleason is a new to you author too- I really enjoyed this series- historical romance with a female vampire slayer (original and good)
3. New Genre:Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels- didn't see a lot of non-fiction on your shelf and I just read this. Loved it. I laughed so many times I lost count!
4. Lose Weight:Northern Lights- only book that I haven't read on this list.
5. Save $: Undead and Unemployed- you're read the 1st one, this is the 2nd.
6. Get Organized: A Knight in Shining Armor- had this on your shelf for more then a year. It's a good one:-)
Enjoy Life More:
7. Shakespeare's Landlord- I saw you've read Sookie. Now it's time for Lily.
8. Wicked Lovely- I enjoyed this book

I'm not sure if this is the first time i've picked for you or not, anyways - hopefully you find something on this list that you like.
A. Try Something New
1. New Author - Julie James - she currently has 2 books out and I saw them both on your TBR - Just the Sexiest Man Alive or Practice Makes Perfect
2. New Series - Fever Series - I just started reading this series becasue it was really hyped up and loving it so far - the first book is Darkfever - Mac (the heroine) is a bit rough in the first one, but she gets better.
3. New Genre - I saw you had a lot of contemporary romnace and historical, as well as some paranormal, but not so much Urban Fantasy - which is my new favorite. So my recommendation for you is Moon Called the first book in the Mercy Thompson series
B. Better for You - From Your TBR
1. Lose Weight - Flowers from the Storm - this book seems to be a love or hate, there isn't much middle ground - I loved it and hope you do to.
2. Save Money - I couldn't decide here, so I have 2 recommendations for you - Slave to Sensation (the first book in Nalini Singh's Psy-changlings) or Outlander (i love Jamie and have read this book multiple times over the years).
3. Get Organized - another one of two picks for you - The Hunger Games (i haven't read this one yet, but heard lots of good things about the trilogy) or Passion
C. Enjoy Life More
1 & 2 I saw you had all 4 books in the Wallflowers series on your list - so i'm recommending the series to you - Wallflowers series - but books 2 and 3 are my favorite. My other recommendation for you is Some Girls Bite which is the first book in the Chicagoland Vampires series - I just finished up book 3 and am now waiting impatiently for book 4.
Hopefully one of these works - if not let me know

My picks for you.
A. Try Something New
1. New Author - I'd love to suggest Karen Marie Moning and Darkfever - the first book in her excellent UF/PNR series, whose final, 5th book, coincidentally comes out January 2011.
2. New Series - Succubus Blues is the first in a 6-book UF Succubus series.
3. New Genre - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - even though this book is already on your TBR, the genre is pretty new to you.
B. Better You - From their TBR
1. Lose Weight - Outlander - every fan of historical romance should give this lengthy, but oh so good, novel a try.
2. Save Money - The Hunger Games - I see you don't read much YA or dystopian fiction, but if there is one YA book worth reading, it's this one. And it's already on your TBR.
3. Get Organized - Two for the Dough - maybe it's time to give Stephanie Plum another chance?
C. Enjoy Life More
Both Dead Until Dark (UF/mystery) and Magic Study (fantasy) are a lot of fun.

TRY SOMETHING NEW
Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter #1) by Nalini Singh (New series)
The Iron Hunt (Hunter Kiss #1) by Marjorie M. Liu (New Series)
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead (Doesn't look like you've read this series. I was suggested this book for last month's pick me challenge and now I am seriously addicted. I love, love, love this book.)
The Host by Stephanie Meyer New Author and New Genre (Looks to me like you haven't read anything by Stephanie Meyer. This book is totally different from her Twilight series. It is more of a science fiction tale. It is a stand alone story. It is kind of a body snatcher's story told from the alien's point of view. I really liked this book a whole lot too.)
American Gods by Neil Gaiman New Author (It looks to me like you've never read anything by him. I am reading this book now. A friend of mine told me how great it is.)
BETTER YOU
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon paperback 853 pages Lose some weight (This book has been recommended to me a few times by different people. I haven't read it but I intend to fairly soon.)
Moon Sworn by Keri Arthur Get Organized (Looks to me like you've been trying to finish this series)
ENJOY LIFE MORE
Soulless by Gail Carriger (I was trying to think of fun books that I like. I thought the protagonist of this book is pretty funny and I thought this book was cute. I gave it three stars. I actually liked the second book in this series Blameless more and gave it 4 stars.)
So there you go. Hope you find something that you really like.

Here are my picks for you:
1) New Author - It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
(She is my favorite contemporary romance author, and I enjoy her Chicago Stars series. I'm recommending the first book.)
2) New Series - Naked in Death by JD Robb
(The series is up to 33 books, testament of how much readers enjoy Eve and Roarke. Don't you think its time for you to meet them?)
3) New Genre - Gabriel's Ghost by Linnea Sinclair
(This is sci-fi romance but don't get intimidated. It's a lovely read and Sully have stolen my heart.)
4)Lose Weight - Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
(Forget the politics or the philosophy. Read it for the storyline. This is one book I enjoy rereading over and over.)
5) Save Money - Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
(Since you don't have an "owned-books" shelf, I simply went ahead and pick a book from your TBR shelf. One of my favorite UF series out there with a heroine I would love to hang out with if she is real.)
6) Get Organized - Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey
(Going through your TBR shelf, this is the oldest book you have added that I have already read. Light YA book that can keep you company for a few hours.)
7-8 Enjoy Life More
(I would like to recommend two of my all-time favorite series out there: Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood and Singh's Psy-Changeling books)
Dark Lover by JR Ward
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh
Hope you find something in this list that interests you.
Happy reading!

A. Try Something New-
1. New Author- I love Teresa Meideros, I hope you do too- either Charming the Prince or The Vampire Who Loved Me

3. New Genre- you don't have as much Conteporary Romance so here is one I recently read and adored- Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis
B. Better You-
1. Lose Weight- Ruthless Game
2. Save Money- I am having trouble linking this one but I wanted to put the Salvatore Dali autobiography you have on your tbr here.

Enjoy Life More-
1. The Girl Who Chased the Moon - sweet, magical tale of love.
2. Skin Game by Ava Gray- 2 very non-traditional heroes, a little PNR thrown in, different and very good.

You don't have as many books in your shelves so I hope you haven't read these picks. If you have, please let me know and I'll make new picks for you. :) Hope you enjoy them!
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Julie James - Just the Sexiest Man Alive. I discovered this author this year and I just love her books. This is a romantic comedy with a great plot, a smart heroine and very cocky hero that gets what's coming to him. :)
2. New Series: Henry II & Eleanor of Aquitaine Trilogy - When Christ and His Saints Slept. You mention in your profile your interest for historical fiction so I thought you may like this one. This is the first book in the trilogy and it outlines the fight for the throne of England among the descendants of William the Conqueror and the beginning of the Plantagenet dynasty.
3. New Genre: Urban Fantasy - Moon Called. I didn't see any UF in your shelf so I thought I should recommend you the first book of my absolute favorite UF series. Mercy is one of the best heroines out there and I'd really like to have her as my BFF!
B. Better You - From your TBR
1. Lose Weight: For the Roses by Julie Garwood (576 pgs.) I see from your To Read shelf that you don't shy away from lengthy books so I felt free to go with this Garwood. I'm reading my first book by her at the moment and she always comes highly recommended.
2. Save Money: The Hunger Games - One of my favorites books of this year! It's darker than most YA book I've read but the plot is amazing and terribly exciting.
3. Get Organized: Handle with Care - This is the oldest book in your TBR and although I haven't read this one, I recently read a Picoult and I know her books are always controversial and well researched.
C. Enjoy Life More
Fun 1: Three Bags Full: I see you like mysteries and this is one of the most delightful mysteries I've read in my life. Those detective sheep are just awesome (yes, you heard that right...detective sheep!)
Fun 2: The Undomestic Goddess: I also saw some chick lit on your shelf and I was surprised you haven't read any Kinsella. This particular book is hilarious.

We have some books in common so I hope you like my recs.

1. New Author - Nalini Singh - I just love her books!
2. New Series - Demonica by Larissa Ione. The first one is Pleasure Unbound

Well, now I know who to ask when I need a Paranormal recommendation. :-)
Here are a few suggestions for you. If nothing sounds interesting, I'll be happy to suggest more.
Try Something New
1. New Author: I was introduced to Janet Evanovich earlier this year in the Featured Author Challenge. I am now addicted to Stephanie Plum and her crazy family. One for the Money kicks of the series.
2. New Series: I am reading and enjoying the Wallflowers series by Lisa Kleypas. The first book,Secrets of a Summer Night is on your TBR.
3. New Genre: I didn't see any Historical Fiction on your shelves, and since I am a HF junkie, I am recommending The Other Boleyn Girlby Philippa Gregory.
A Better You
1. Lose Weight: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. The book is lengthy but so, so good. I have read the series, and intend to re-read it many times. Yes, it's that good!
2. Save Money: Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead. This is on your TBR. I plan to read this soon. I really enjoyed the Vampire Academy series so I'm looking forward to seeing how her adult novels compare.
3. Get Organized: Covet by J.R. Ward, since you like BDB and this has been on your TBR since March.
Enjoy Life
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is not a "fun" book, but it's very suspenseful and entertaining. Under Her Skin is a light, fun romance that I read earlier this year as part of the PIFM challenge. Both books are on your TBR.
Enjoy, and Happy New Year!

A.
1. Dear John by Nicholas Sparks: I didn't see this book in your TBR list. It is a pretty good book, Nicholas Sparks is a good author.
2. Causing Havoc by Lori Foster: I see that you have Hard To Handle in your TBR list which is #3 in the series. I figure you can start with Causing Havoc...it is a great series! Lori is one of my favorite authors!
3. Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie: This is a CR genre, which I didn't see you have read any.
B.
1. Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon: This book has 722 pages.
2. Soulless by Gail Carriger: This was surprisingly a good book, not that I thought it wouldn't be. But I normally don't read PR!
3. Tribute by Nora Roberts: This book has been on your TBR list quite some time!
C.
1. Mr. Maybe by Jane Green: I read this book awhile ago and was one of my first Chick-lit books. I thought it was cute and funny!
2. Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah Maclean: I also enjoyed this book a lot, and its the first in the series!

A. Try Something New
1. Full Moon Rising - Keri's writing is so creative and her characters are so lovable. Everyone should give this series a go.
2. Darkfever - One of my all time favorite series. It's a must read!
3. Angels Fall - You haven't tried many Nora Roberts books and I'm shocked and appalled at that. She is one of the worlds greatest writers. No one does characterization or suspense like Nora.

B. Better You - From their TBR
1. The Historian - I haven't read this one yet, even though it's been sitting on my shelf for months now. Every time I go near it I think...wow buddy, that's one thick son of a gun. I'll read it next month.
2. Desire Unchained - This is a really good series. Not one of my favorites, but worth continuing regardles. I liked that Gem and Ky made a little progress in this novel.
3. On the Edge - Another one I haven't read, but it still looked good and it's been on you're to-read shelf the longest.

C. Enjoy Life More
1. A Girl's Guide to Vampires - I really liked this book. It's silly and romantic, and even though the heroine is a total twit, it's shamelessly enjoyable.
2. Ties That Bind - I saw that you enjoyed erotica, and so I thought I recommend on of my favorites of the genre for fun.
3. Tempting the Beast - if you like your romance a little on the steamy side then Lora Leigh is a must for you.

A.
1. Glimmerglass - This was in your TBR pile and I just finished this recently. I'm on to the next book, but haven't made it very far yet. I really liked this book.
2. The Surgeon - I started reading this series out of order by accident, so I haven't actually read this one yet, but I loved some of the other books.
3. A Promise to Believe In - This fits more into the historical fiction genre, and I didn't see much (if any) of that in the books you have read. I absolutely loved this book, and lately I've been more into the paranormal fiction.
B.
1. Nevermore - This one doesn't have as many pages as some of the books you have read, but I wanted to pick one that would challenge you some, but not become impossible for this month. I also picked this book because I currently have it from the library and intend to read it soon.
2. Naked in Death - I loved this book....the 33 in the series kind of scares me a bit though. Looking at some of the books you have read, I don't think you will have any problem with this series.
3. A Rush of Wings - I have never heard of this series or the author, but the bookcover and the description sound like it would be a great book.
C.
1. The Ex Games - I have not read this book, but I plan on adding it to my tbr pile now.
2. Vision in White - I have read this whole series and intend to read it again. This is one of the few books that I have gotten the day it was released.

Thanks so much for the recs!! All of them are great! I am being hopeful and think I can read a couple of them.
I will choose to read The Duke And I. It has been on my TBR list too long!
I will also try to read Welcome to Temptation!
Thanks again!

We have some books in common so I hope you like my recs.
A - Try Something New

Regina, thank you for taking the time to make recommendations for me!
You're right, I should try Nalini Singh. I will read
Slave to Sensation.

Happy New Year!

A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Jodi Picoult- (any) I really enjoyed Nineteen Minutes and Handle With Care
2. New Series: You have so many great starts of series..I picked one that I have read and enjoyed...How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire
3. New Genre: Literary Fiction/Amish- Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult
B. Better You
1. Lose Weight: City of Bones (I picked this because I'm wanting to read it myself.)
2. Save Money: Full Moon Rising...I've read almost all of this series and I've really enjoyed it!
3. Get Organized: Demon From the Dark...This is a series that I've wanted to read...and I noticed this is book 10 from it...I hope I didn't skip over any books from the series...if so...then my pick is for the next one in order for you.
C. Enjoy Life More
1. Beauty Tempts the Beast
2. Crave
I hope you have a great month of reading...no matter what you choose to read!

I found it harder than usual to pick for you since you don't have many books on your shelves & we only have 11 books in common. But I tried my best & hopefully you'll find something you might enjoy. If not, I'm more than happy to try again.
*BTW, I read your profile. You will find not one paranormal ANYTHING in my picks. You're killing me, Rena. I want to rec a few so bad but I MUST RESIST!
A.
1. New Author: Deb Caletti's The Secret Life of Prince Charming~I noticed you read & enjoyed a few Sarah Dessen novels. I'm a Dessen fan myself & Caletti reminds me of her.
2. New Series: Shoot to Thrill by Nina Bruhns~I noticed you read a lot of RS. RS is far from my favorite genre but I enjoyed this book by Bruhns.
3. New Genre: Dirty by Megan Hart. Hart writes what she classifies as Erotic Romance. But I think her novels are so much more than that. Yes, they are explicit but the emotions her books invoke are what I've come to crave & love from her.
B.
1. Lose Weight: The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons~I've not read this book yet but a lot of my friends have. The reviews they wrote make this book seem like an epic romance.
2. Save Money: Black Ice by Anne Stuart~I noticed you had this book on your TBR shelf which is a relief to me. This series is one of the only RS series I've consistently enjoyed.
3. Get Organized: Hot Ice by Cherry Adair~I haven't read Adair but a lot of my friends who are fans of RS seem to enjoy her works. Since this is the oldest book on your TBR shelf-& because there are nine books proceding this one-I figured you might want to get cracking on it.
C. Enjoy Life More
1. Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy~McCarthy is usually a hit or miss for me but I've come to love her CR series about NASCAR drivers. It's very fun & humorous.
2. Head Over Heels by Susan Andersen~Another fun CR series. It even has a bit of suspense in it.

Here are your January recs:
1. New to you Author: I'm recommending Catherine Anderson to you. She writes sweet romances and I really love her writing. She writes historicals and contemporaries. If I had to pick one for you, I'd say Summer Breeze.
2. New to you Series: I don't see where you've read any of Lori Foster's books, so I'm going to recommend her SBC Fighters Series to you. Definitely some hot Alpha males in those. Start with the first which is Causing Havoc
3. New to you Genre: How about some Romantic Suspense? Try Linda Howard's Cry No More. Seriously, it left me in a fog for a few days after reading that one.
4. Lose Weight: Lover Unleashed is 528 pages so I'll pick that one. I haven't made it that far in the series myself, but I've enjoyed the ones I've read so far.
5. Save Money: There is only one book on your TBR shelf that I've read and I only gave it 2 stars, so I'm going to recommend something else instead. I recommend Hot Finish by Erin McCarthy.
6. Get Organized: The book that you've had on your TBR list the longest is Bachelor Unleashed, so I'm picking that one for you.
7. Fun Book #1: He Loves Lucy. This is a contemporary romance about a plump girl who falls in love with her trainer. I thought it was really cute.
8. Fun Book #2: See Jane Score. I liked the quirky hapless heroine in this one. About a reporter who falls in love with hockey player. Contemporary Romance.
Okay, hope you see something you like, let me know what you pick!
Kim

Here are my recommendations for you.
Try Something New
1. New Author
Storm Born by Richelle Mead. This is one from your TBR that I enjoyed. I think you will find this an interesting read.
2. New Series
You Slay Me by Katie MacAlister. I found this series really fun and entertaining to read.
3. New Genre
Storm Front by Jim Butcher. This is similar to some of the books you have listed, but I don't remember seeing any straight sci-fi. It's the start of a very interesting series about Wizards.
Better You
1. Lose Weight
You have read a lot of books over 400 pages, so I didn't have many to choose from your TBR pile! But, I thought Public Enemies: America's Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-34 by Bryan Burrough looks really interesting so I picked that for you from your TBR.
2. Save Money
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh. This is a really interesting series that I enjoy, and from your other reads I think you'll really enjoy it as well.
3. Get Organized
This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. You read the others in the series back in February, so I thought it would be a good time to read the next one.
Enjoy Life More
1. Touch the Dark by Karen Chance. This is one of my favorite series. It's interesting, and yes it made me laugh quite a bit!
2. One for the Money by Janet Evanovich. This is another series that I just enjoy reading. Nothing deep about the books, just a lot of fun!
I hope there is at least one in these that you would like to read next month!

First of all thanks for the picks. They look great and I'll let you know when I've made my choice. Here are my picks for you (I tried to stay as close to your TBR as possible):
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Just One Of The Guys by Kristan Higgins ~ Very funny book, I really enjoyed it.
2. New Series: The Hunger Games ~ This was recommended to me in another Pick-it Challenge and I wouldn't have picked it up otherwise. It turned out to be a very interesting read.
3. New Genre: A Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught ~ I don't remember seeing any Historical novels on your list and this is one of my all time favorites. You seem to like strong heroines and this one definitely fits the bill.
B. Better You
1. Lose Weight: Eragon by Christopher Paolini ~ I could have fit this one in so many of these categories that I think it might be fate. Yes it's a long read, but well worth it.
2. Save Money: Anyone But You by Jennifer Crusie ~ I always enjoy Crusie's books and this was also a recent read that didn't disappoint. If you like audio books, this one happens to be read by one of my favorite narrators, Susan Erikson.
3. Get Organized: At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost ~ I see you've read the first two and since it's one of my all time favorite series (and #5 comes out soon) you should really continue it. I personally think you should finish this series before you read First Drop of Crimson.
C. Enjoy Life More
1. About A Dragon by G.A. Aiken ~ I love this author and I love this series. Both never fail to make me laugh out loud.
2. Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie ~ You like Contemporary Romance and Crusie's one of the best. Another one of those laugh out loud books.
Okay, I hope you find something you'll enjoy amongst these picks. If nothing else, you can use some of these for the Monthly challenge if you're going to participate :)
Happy Reading!
Well I made my decision pretty quickly, I decided to read Demon from the Dark. I love that series and I always forget this one is on my list so I get to enjoy it this month :)

Haha! Thanks so much! I will probably read the Bronze Horseman

Wow, when I first saw your TBR, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find anything new for you. It is massive and full of great books! But I did manage to cull down my picks and I hope you find something that sounds good to read in January.
A. Try Something New
1. Hot by Julia Harper. This is a bank robbery/chase gone wrong. It has lots of interesting characters and even a fun Great Dane. I would compare Harper to Jennifer Crusie or Christie Craig
2. The Lucy Valentine series by Heather Webber, starting with Truly, Madly. I see you read one of her mysteries and liked it, so I think you'll really like this series. Lucy is from a family of matchmaker's but an accident shifted her power from reading aura's to being able to find things people are thinking of when she touches them. She gets involved in a case with the help of a PI. Lots of great characters.
3. The Mirror of Her Dreams by Stephen R. Donaldson. This is a bit of a mix of epic fantasy and sci-fi. It starts off a bit slow but turns out to be an amazing two book series. Terisa gets sucked through her mirror into another world where they use mirrors for magic. The world needs saving and some think she is the champion, while others aren't sure.

B. Better You - From their TBR
1. Sweet Starfire & Crystal Flame by Jayne Ann Krenz clocks in at 722 pages. It is really two stories in one book, but they are both great PNR stories by my favorite author.
2. Destiny Kills by Keri Arthur. I think the opening paragraph will sell the book for me.
"Some things I remembered.
Some things I couldn't.
Like who I was.
Or why I was sitting naked on a beach next to a dead man."
3. Glory in Death by J.D. Robb. You loved the first one and this series is at 30 books, so you need to start cracking... It is a great series that gets even better in the first few books as it adds a few new regular characters and you see the relationship between Eve and Roarke grow.

C. Enjoy Life More
1. The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz. You loved Stephanie Plum so you should love this series. Family of PIs who tend to spy on each other and get into everyone's business. Great cast of characters told in a different style then most books.
2. Ravenous by Sharon Ashwood. Holly is a witch with limited powers due to something that happened in childhood. With the help of vampire, Alessandro, she goes to save some people being eaten by a house and stumbles into a bigger problem for the city.

Really interesting picks. Bachelor Unleashed has been on my list so long because I put it there as soon as I found the publish date (Dec 1 my birthday lol). I would love to choose Lover Unleashed but it's not released until next year. All this said, I choose 3:
Causing Havoc - I find it hard to resist alpha males
Cry No More - Howard has been on my radar
Bachelor Unleashed it's coming up in the stack next to the bed lol

1. Full Moon Rising - Keri's writing is ..."
I'm assuming these are for Miss, right? :p

I had soooo much fun digging through your TBR shelf (found some books to add to mine)!! I hope I picked something you might like.
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Something About You by Julie James -- A quick and fun read with a tiny bit of suspense, a lot of laughs, and a great romance. I really like this author, and this is my favorite by her so far.
2. New Series: Tempting Danger by Eileen Wilks -- The beginning to one of my very favorite paranormal series, the World of the Lupi. You can probably guess by the name it involves wolves, but it also has dragons, vamps, tigers, demons, magicians, and pretty much everything you can think of. A fantastic lead couple, and really great secondary characters as well.
3. New Genre: The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen -- A genre called magical realism. This was one of my very favorite books of all 2010. The other books by this author are just as stellar, but this one has my heart.

B. Better You - From your TBR
1. Lose Weight: Silent in the Grave by Deanna Raybourn -- I actually haven't read this one, but after finding it on your TBR shelf, I'm dying to do so.
2. Save Money: Pride Mates by Jennifer Ashley -- I just read this one in the past month and really enjoyed the world the author built.
3. Get Organized: Midnight's Master by Cynthia Eden -- You read the first two in the series but not this one, and it just happens to be my favorite one!

C. Enjoy Life More
1. Warrior by Zoe Archer -- Super fun adventure a la Indiana Jones with a great romance!
2. He Loves Lucy by Susan Donovan -- I know this one wasn't on your TBR, but I read it last month and loved it to pieces! I can't help but recommend it.

Okay, Fran, confession, I really do not like paranormal and wish that I didn’t have to go searching through lists and lists and lists of bloodsuckers and illuminated people, so I’m not sure if my recommendations will hit the mark for you, but here goes!
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Fever, I noticed you liked erotica, and Dean is my favorite author for that genre
2. New Series: Pleasure Unbound - what can I say? It was in your TBR list and I have no taste in paranormal
3. New Genre: Lessons in French by Laura Kinsale, you rated Kinsale well, and I noticed you haven’t read much historicals!
B. Better You - From your TBR
1. Lose Weight: Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon - this book had good reviews (I don’t think you’ll actually read it)
2. Save Money: Silent Blade by Ilone Andrews - This is in my TBR list too, I thought the whole revengeful angry heroine sounded nice, right?
3. Get Organized: Magnolia Summer by Jaci Burton, this book was the most earliest addition in your tbr list
C. Enjoy Life More
1. Conversion by S.C. Stephens, I absolutely adore Stephens’ other non-paranormal books, they dig into the characters really well.
2.Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater - I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book!

I noticed that too, Dee!

I noticed that too, Dee!"
She is actually currently tied with Jodi Picoult with 5 recommendations each, behind 3 other standard favorites.

1. Full Moon Rising - Keri's writing is ..."
I'm assuming these are for Miss, right? :p"
Opps! Blond moment...thanks for pointing that out!

Here are my picks for you:
1) New Author - It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
(She is my favorite contemporary romance author, and I enjoy her Chicago Stars series...."
Thanks for all the great picks!!!
I have read Naked in Death (and loved it!) but realized I had not marked it as "read"! So any other suggestions you have for a new series, please let me know!!
I also had picked to read Dark Lover for the Jan. Monthly Challenge! I'm looking forward to reading that series!!!
Thank you for all the great picks!!! I will probably end up reading them all :)

A. Something New
1. New Author - All Night Long - Jayne Ann Krentz. (I see that you have her on your TBR but you've never read anything by her. I've read this book really enjoyed it so maybe you will)
2. New Series - The Unsung Hero (Troubleshooters #1) by Suzanne Brockmann. I see that you have this on your TBR as well and that you have not read it yet (I would suggest some other series but you've read all the ones I've read! )
3. New Genre: Courting Trouble - Deeanne Gist. (I see that you have a very small shelf in comparison to your other ones for Christian Romance. This one runs along the lines of Christian Romance and historical romance. I own this book, it's really light and easy to read and a funny story.
B. Better You
1. Lose Weight --- Perfect by Judith McNaught (704 pages with a 4.11 rating)
2. Save Money --- The Other Boleyn Girl - Philippa Gregory (I've read this book and I REALLY enjoyed it so I hope you will too if you choose to read it)
3. Get Organized --- Baby Proof - Emily Giffin (You've read the first one, Something Borrowed, you weren't sure if you were going to read the second book of the series but maybe this will make you want to read it!)
C. Enjoy Life More
Dear John - Nicholas Sparks (I see you have a lot of his novels on your TBR shelf and this is one of them. I read the book and then went to see the movie and then read the book again lol. I really like this novel, it's about love and heartbreak so get a tissue ready :). )
or
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. (I have heard so many people raving about this particular book and it's actually on my TBR shelf as well so I'm suggesting it because I've heard such great things about it!)

A. Try Something New
1. New Author: I didn't see anything by Jodi Picoult on your read list. I'm almost finished reading Handle with Care and it's amazing so far.
2. New Series: I saw a bit of young-adult-paranormal on your read list. I recommend the series beginning with Evernight by Claudia Gray. It was fun to read!
3. New Genre: I didn't see any historical fiction on your read list. Mary by Janis Cooke Newman was an amazing work. Newman took facts of Mary Lincoln's life and filled in the blanks with a story. Truly enthralling!

B. Better You
1. Lose Weight: I haven't read it myself, but you have A Game of Thrones on your list, and it has a 4 1/2 star rating! Time to give it a try!
2. Save Money: Morrigan's Cross was the beginning of my favorite trilogy from her. Enjoy!
3. Get Organized: Confessions of a Shopaholic has been on your shelf for more than a year! It was worth it, so quit neglecting it!

C. Enjoy Life More
Since you already have them, think about reading Me Talk Pretty One Day and Undead and Unwed. Both were fun, light reads!

First of all thanks for the picks. They look great and I'll let you know when I've made my choice. Here are my picks for you (I tried to stay as close to your TBR as possible):
A. Try ..."
Love all of these picks! You have picked very well. I'm going to try to get several of them read...I think Hunger Games (which is sitting on a shelf at home) will be the one. I think I have Just one of the Guys...so definitely going to move that up, or one like it. After all of the hustle and bustle of the past couple of months...I need something that's laugh out loud funny. Thanks and I hope you enjoy your books this month.

You don't have as many books in your shelves so I hope you haven't read these picks. If you have, please let me know and I'll make new picks for you. :) Hope you enjoy them!

Thanks D.G. for the suggestions. I plan on reading
Moon Called because it seems several people enjoyed this book and I think it sounds exciting to read as well! I also may read The Undomestic Goddess too because sounds like my kind of book too :). Thanks again they were all really great choices (these two just happen to be available at the library so it's a lot more convenient!

A. Try Something New
1. New Author: A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
2. New Series: Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
3. New Genre: Sisterchicks on the Loose! by Robin Jones Gunn (I saw some chick-lit on your shelf, but no Christian Fiction, so I thought a cross of the two might be interesting to you.)
B. Better You - From their TBR
1. Lose Weight: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
2. Save Money: Anne Frank, the Diary of a Young Girl
3. Get Organized: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
C. Enjoy Life More
1. The Awakening by L. Smith
2. Belle of the Brawl by Lisi Harrison
Have fun! I tried to use your TBR as much as possible.

Hi Hayley! Welcome to the very addictive Pick-it-For-Me challenge. I love your recs. I'm having a hard time picking only one! I'm going to go with
The Unsung Hero...I think! LOL I may change my mind later and pick another one, but I think I'm in the mood for a romantic suspense. Thanks so much!

So glad to be picking for you! I really hope I get a good one for you.
A. Try Something New
1. New Author: Simply Irresistible by Rachel Gibson - Rather surprised you haven't read one of hers before. Fun and light contemporary romance.
2. New Series: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - A bit dark and moody but utterly enjoyable in the end. Certainly worthwhile.
3. New Genre: Space Romance! Slave by Cheryl Brooks - Completely ridiculous but filled with fun alien sex.
B. Better You - From their TBR
1. Lose Weight: Love Slave for Two by Tymber Dalton - I know nothing about this book, but good ratings and lots of activities to help us all keep in shape.
2. Save Money: Just the Sexiest Man Alive by Julie James - I've heard good things and bought this yesterday. If you pick this, I'll happily do a read along.
3. Get Organized: My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult - This is not my cup of tea but you've enjoyed another Picoult book. Besides you've had this sitting there forever, go ahead and read it.
C. Enjoy Life More
1 & 2. Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore - A real hoot. Irreverent fun that had me laughing consistently.
It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips - Contemporary romance from one of my favorite authors!
Good luck and be sure to let me know which you pick!
