Dee, if you wait until the first to start it you can use it for an SRC task. I forgot which task number it is but it calls for a Printz Honor book. It's the Breakfast Club task.
I forgot to post here... finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower on Feb 23 and gave it 5 stars. Loved it, especially as I in some ways could relate to the main character - I've been one of the 'odd kids' too who didn't really fit in.
I finished Cross My Heart today 2/28. It was just o.k. Nothing really made it stand out from other YA misunderstood boy/good girl romances. And it needed some editing. 3*
I finished Cross My Heart on 28th too. Ditto what Fran said. Over-hyped and I wouldn't even say misunderstood. Leaning towards the stereo but not really there.
Have to skip this one. Not enjoying the Sookie Stackhouse novel at all. Plus my local library does not have ONE of the titles listed (except of course the two I have already read) I was trying to make a good run of these. Oh well, next one!
Finished The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting at 08.03. 4 star rating.I liked it. My favorite part of the book was a love story between main characters Violet and Jay. It was so cute and sweet. It reminded me of a time when I was young girl and so clueless. :)
Finished Dead in the Family for Definitely Dead. I'm not so wild with this installment in the series. *** stars.
Finished Lord of Scoundrels today and rated it 4 stars. Good hero and heroine characters, but thought the first half dragged somewhat. The second half took off and was absolutely great.
I just re-read Definitely Dead and have to stick with my rating of 4 stars - so much better than the latest book in the series

. I gave it 2 stars, it was alright. I didn't outright hate it but I promised my best friend I would read the series and I'm glad I finished it...so glad I didn't see the movie. I'll probably sit and watch part 1 and 2 together when part 2 comes out on DVD.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First SightI just read this one. I like the premise of the story and it was very believeable. The interactions between the two main characters were good but I wish there was more between them and less of her inner thoughts of her father. I wanted more of a love story between the two - not father and daughter. Overall I gave it a 3.
I finished listening to Smooth Talking Stranger for Blue-Eyed Devil yesterday, and it was wonderful. Another touching story with a strong heroine and a sexy hero from Kleypas. I wonder if this is the last Travis book, or will Joe get his own book. 5 Stars.
I might actually go with Gone with the Wind for this one, I've read it once as a teenage girl and that was the German translation. Always wanted to read it again, and our library has it in English
I finished reading Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon today. The funniest part is, that when I started reading it I remembered that I read it a long time ago and totally forgot about it. It was fun re-reading. Grace and her friend Selena were very witty and funny and contributed a lot to the humor of the book. I also liked that Sherrilyn Kenyon mixed in a Greek mythology, I love it when writer describe Greek gods in modern settings.
Nicola wrote: "Just picked up
."This is a wonderful book. Have you read the first one, Sugar Daddy?
I gave all three books in this trilogy 5 stars.

I haven't. I didn't realize until I picked it up at the library that it was a trilogy. Does it need to be read in order?
I finished
on 4/11. Vi and I read it together. I just loved it! It was a heart-tugging, well-written, emotional story and I wish it were longer. Sophie and Carter are two fractured teens who rely on each other for support and unconditional friendship.
Copying what I posted on another challenge:
Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon - ★★★★ - 6 Apr 12
I was surprised how much I ended up liking this book. I really liked Grace and Julian -- especially after we got to know more about his past. I also liked the fact it was a stand-alone book. There is almost no hint that this book is the "prequel" to the author's Dark-Hunter series. I could easily decide not to read the series and I won't feel like I missed anything.
I will be reading the next -- or first -- book.
I finally read Sugar Daddy yesterday
must be a four star, because I also read
yesterday! (Both four stars, off to order
!)
I don't think I can finish Gone with the Wind within one week, wasted too much time on a book I didn't like for challenge #73... Guess I'll go with Fantasy Lover then, that should be a faster read
As I said Fantasy Lover was a fast read, read through it last night when insomnia hit again. Gave it 4 stars, it was an entertaining read and I'll certainly read more of the series
Yz the Whyz wrote: "Random Book List #74"I finished reading Fantasy Lover for this challenge. I didn't like this book until the plot got into how they were going to break the curse. It sounded really cheesy at first and I wasn't interesting me at all but then it got better after about 1/3 of the way into it. ***

Hmmm. Tough oneI'm either subbing Iron Kissed for Moon Called
or
subbing Midnight Awakening for Kiss of Crimson
I'm going to read Moon Called, since a lot of my friends seemed to like it and I have read and enjoyed other books by Patricia Briggs
I read The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter. I rated 3 stars. I enjoyed it, but I didn't love it, I'll certainly read more of the series.
I read Iron Kissed instead of Moon Called. I gave it 4 stars. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
Shoot, I forgot to post I read both Taken by Midnight for "Kiss of Crimson" and Changing the Game for "Taking a Shot". I really enjoyed them both. I gave Taken by Midnight 5 stars and Changing the Game 4 stars.
