November's Build Your Own Challenge Challenge
I actually loved that one more than the 3rd. Have you gotten to ...well I don't want to spoil anything...where are you at?
oh! You're done!!! What did you think of the big fight???I don't know that the first one was weak...I thought as far as first books in a series goes it was pretty good, especially the ending. I love that series. I LOVE Bones. gosh... yummy yum yum!
I think when I wrote my peeking comment I was where Bones threw the piano against the wall and walked away.I'm not saying Halfway to the Grave wasn't good, just that comparing it to the rest of the series it wasn't as good. I also liked the ending of it very much.
My absolute fave was One Foot in the Grave but comparing 3rd and 4th I'm not sure which I liked best. I think it's a draw for me - some parts I liked better in one and some in the other.
The fight, the fight, the fight - just finished and I can't figure out what I think about it. The ending was just wooosh! suddenly there and .... and ... she just lied and everything was ok again?!!?! I still have to work this through but at the same time I want to go on with the next book.
Sometimes I hate when I go from one book to the other not digesting long enough and just jumping to the next. Feels like I might miss something but I can't stop myself. Rereads always give some more depth cause you're not rushing to the end so you'd know how it ends but take in all the details etc.
Heh, I may blab as much as I want but let's be honest I'm already on to First Drop of Crimson :)
I loved the fight! I though it was authentic and about time. OFITG is my absolute fave as well..i mean chapter 32..come on and it was so freakin funny. I preferred the 4th over the 3rd. I didn't like the whole fake out Bones dying thing....1)thats just not nice or funny and 2)there was NO WAY IN HELL Bones was gonna be dead...so the whole time I'm reading it, I'm just waiting for him to come back...Anyway...enjoy first drop of crimson..haven't read it yet...let me know what you think. I might read it next month!

Suzanne wrote: "Darn it Leah you are beating me gonna have to ditch the crappy slow book and move on to somethign better!"Mwhahah. But damn it, my stupid school work is not leaving me with enough time in the day to read! I'm still only on like chapter 3 of AHLNO! D:
My reading of World War Z is going somewhat slow - even though it's good - but I got Extreme Exposure in the mail yesterday and I'm dying to read it. I think I'll just pick it up and read it because I know I'll be thinking of that book all day long and it will only stop my progress in the other book (see how I justify myself, LOL! :p)
I will join in also with the goal of reading 10 books total.Recommended for me:
As You Desire by Connie Brockway
Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
New Series to start:
New Authors:
Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
What a Westmoreland Wants by Brenda Jackson
From TBR Shelf

DG, Did you hear that the bar scene was taken straight from Pamela's life? She freely admits to having a potty mouth! LOL

The entire series was awesome!! Istn't there another coming out?
Mandy,
comes out July 2011 and then she said she's going to start writing Connor Mackinnon's book from MacKinnon's Rangers next week.

Yep! The story Kara is following, Pamela covered, too. I think that's why so much of her story seems real, because she's taken them from stories she's either broken herself or helped investigate.

I'm sorry to hear you got chewed out, UM. =( I don't think it matters at this point. LOTS of members are begging for the half stars & GR basically said "It's not a big priority. We'll get to it when we get to it." Meh.
I know, and the people who don't "like" the idea don't seem to think those of us who do should have a choice or a say in the matter.
I don't get that. If they don't like the 1/2 stars, they don't have to use it. They could keep rating their books using only the "full" stars. Why don't they want other people to have the option of using 1/2 stars? Bah!
I agree, UM & Dina. It's sad but some people think just because something isn't important to them, it isn't important at all.
