Fires getting out of hand in Canada - three provinces are struggling with fires and not enough firefighters. We are even receiving a hand from Australia and New Zealand.

We hold a lot of faith in them ;)
That sounds really bad Melissa. Are any towns threatened by the fires or is it mostly forest burning?

It is starting to make its way to towns in a couple of provinces - Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC. The biggest one near me is 20,000 hectares.

Wow just had the nicest thing happen, two of my son's muso mates just came in, next minute I hear this beautiful tune playing on my grandmas piano. It was just lovely, makes me want to go back and learn piano.

G'day everyone. Grandson has gone and I am back on deck. Took today off work to recuperate - I had forgotten what hard work 7 year old boys can be - LOL!Am catching up on my washing today - two loads already mostly towels - he went swimming everyday, and then his cousin James, my other grandson came over for a swim too so another towel or 3 :)
