I do it too Tui. I nearly always type form instead of from. Also fro instead of for. Maybe we have some rare from (!) of dyslexia:)

Carolyn | 9868 comments I have the kindle app on my laptop as well as my phone and iPad. I rarely read on the phone or laptop and don't have many books downloaded onto them but I can see them all in the cloud and download one when I want it.

So I think if you got a new kindle they would all be there in storage. You'd just have to download the ones you wanted again. You can also go into your Amazon account and see your kindle library independent of the device you're using and select books to download to your device of choice.

The words I have most trouble typing are cancer - always comes out as cacner and hospital - hopsital. Quite like both of them but spellcheck doesn't! Also my name more often than not comes out as Acrolyn when I'm signing off emails.

Julie, I'm sure it would work fine. I store them in my computer and I've had people send me email files of kindle books - they're called mobi files as I'm sure you know. I easily get them from the email to my kindle, just by using "save as"
You could even save them to your camera most probably - you can save any kind of file to your camera memory. Just try it and see.
But the best thing is a memory stick.

You're right about the temperature, Anna. For summer, it's a pretty nice day. And you can be certain that your Kindle will be fine - mine's survived significantly warmer temperatures :)

However, my sister's been living in the UK for some years, and she says that as soon as the temperature gets close to 20 degrees, everyone breaks out their shorts and t-shirts. She's usually still feeling a bit chilly.

It certainly gave me a bit of a fright Suzanne! I would really miss it if I didn't have it now, and wouldn't have half the books I have.

Vicki Tyley (vickityley) | 1732 comments Hello, all! I hope I haven't missed anything important.

I receive a daily Word Spy newsletter. This one from last week I'm sure we can all relate to:

antilibrary
n. A person's collection of unread books.

Examples
I like the concept of the antilibrary, mostly because it justifies my habit of incessantly acquiring new books while lacking the time to read them all. There’s something very comforting about owning stacks of books — particularly non-fiction — and having them immediately on hand, should you want to know something about (say) Hitler, inequality, cats or economics.
—Hazel Phillips, “The Importance of the Antilibrary —Converting Unknown Unknowns Into Known Unknowns,” Baldwin Boyle Group, January 12, 2015

Never too many unread books for my #AntiLibrary. #RetailTherapy #Procrastination — at Barnes & Noble 86th Street...
—Sean Cusack, “Never too many...,” Twitter, May 12, 2014

I wasn't asked, but here is a sample of my antilibrary:

Just think of it as online storage. If you have to be online to access photos, documents etc, then they're in the cloud.

LOL - someone at work (Whose getting married in September) says that the bridal shower is when you buy gifts for the bride to use on her wedding night. so body lotions, massages, sexy nighty - that sort of thing.

I understand the hens night is going to include a visit from a stripper at some stage during the dinner - mother's and aunties not invited to this!!
