Suz | 4436 comments I'm covering school library books again. This is where I need audiobooks I think. What's a good one?!

I'm slowly getting through The Poppet and the Lune (The Complete Series) by Madeline Claire Franklin The Poppet and the Lune by Madeline Claire Franklin at the moment Suzanne and its really good ;)

Or if you want something a little more serious but VERY compelling, I absolutely loved Code Name Verity (Code Name Verity, #1) by Elizabeth Wein Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein I read the book and listened to the audio...brilliant! Cannot recommend that one highly enough :) *Needs tissues!!

That's no good Julie. If she's crying she won't be able see what she's doing and the school library books will end up all wrinkled.

The audio version was brilliant!

I agree, Marina. Contact and covering books was the bane of my life. They never ended up smooth and wrinkle free.

Suz | 4436 comments The school gave me a little tool, that is better than a ruler, it's a 3M scraper, good for getting all the bumps out. Also the little lesson was handy that the librarian gave me - I never thought of folding it in half before peeling the backing off!

I want to go, not sure if my sister will go with me, if she doesn't, someone can take her place at the discounted price of $80 instead of $95 (2 course meal, all drinks). Of course she may choose to come.....I will post here again when she lets me know.

Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) They're apparently thinking about re-making Watership Down as a CGI film.

I am not a fan of this idea.

Haha! I was half asleep this morning with my nose in a book so I forgot to look.
Has been quite foggy/ smoggy in the mornings this week so the harbour hasn't been looking so good. The half-a-fridge looks best on a bright, clear, sunny day :)
