On the weekend as celebration of a treat for all the hard yards I have put in this year getting fit and healthy my hubby took me away to Green Island for the night. This was the view that I enjoyed while reading on Saturday!!!

No it really wasn't!!! lol There's so much to do there we really needed a couple more days to do it all!!! But it was the most fantastic holiday I have ever had!!! I saw so many things that I have never seen in the wild just swimming by me at that beach!!! It truly was wonderful!!

Can totally understand that!!! I was feeling that way before we left. Even just a night away has relaxed me! Maybe you could find time one weekend to go for a drive up to the Barossa for a night would work wonders!!

I was very lucky to be there!! Its so close to Cairns too only a 40 min boat ride and your there its crazy!!

You certainly get some spectacular sunsets Brenda. I think one of the most beautiful sunsets I ever saw was while I was in St George [interior QLD] - beautiful colours splashed across the sky followed by what seemed to be millions of shining stars - a very incredible night :)

Sounds absolutely gorgeous Tracey. I love sunsets...and sunrises, but I don't see many of those;) When we went on a cruise in 2009 the sunrises over the ocean were magnificent. I took lots of photos then:)

I'm loving looking at everyone's pics in the new thread. I've been searching through my [thousands] of photos for something to post but no luck so far - I'll keep looking.

I also took advantage of the Author thread to post my novels - a very big thank you for providing that opportunity :)

I had my new wall oven installed last week and it has cupboards above the microwave niche and two big slide out drawers underneath the oven - now I'm scratching my head about what to do with all this extra space :) I'll have to spend some time reorganizing the kitchen I guess - try to make it a little more 'user friendly'.

And yes ladies [and gents, of course] it is WONDERFUL to have extra space in the kitchen. I was nervous about the wall oven at first, thinking it would reduce my cupboard/bench space but the way they installed it has actually given me so much extra space it's amazing. As they say at Macca's 'I'm lovin' it' :)

Just back from 7 weeks in Tassie.
Back to suburbia after a great time bushwalking.
Also we went to the Australian Concerto Competition final, visited MONA gallery, and the David Williamson play Rhinestone Rex and Miss Monica.
