Over the past few days I've been quite sick so I decided to re-watch the mini-t.v series 'Band of Brothers'. I would recommend it to everyone. I gave it 10/10 stars on the IMDB and only 6 movies/t.v shows have 10/10 stars on my account. (view spoiler)[ I have seen 1441 movies/t.v shows in my life (hide spoiler)]. Yes I know I don't really have a life but at least it gets me pass my english tests when you have to compare books and movies in specific genres.

I was extremely fortunate to be invited to the Hachette Christmas Roadshow 2012 in Sydney last night, where we saw up and coming new releases, some of which are already in the shops, others to come. I'll put a list up later in the NR's section. We also received a goodie bag, with free books inside....it seemed like Christmas already to me!!! It was a wonderful evening, with nibbles and drinks both before and after the presentation....

I live on the southcoast of Victoria, and just wanted to share with you that we have absolutely beautiful, warm, happy sunshine here. There are lots of beautiful tourists around visiting, so I know it is close to summer. When I was out walking at 7am this morning, lots of happy, smiling people about. Hope you are all enjoying some nice sun too.

I had a lovely morning in Sydney today, where the weather is also good. I swam in the river baths, and after a delightfully warm shower, took a stroll along the promenade. Springtime is wonderful!

Some of you might remember that I have been training hard and doing athletics throughout the year to get fit and healthy. Well on the weekend I had a big Regional Championship for athletics and I can't even believe it but I won a silver in the Open Women Weight Pentathlon!!! A weight pentathlon is were you do the events of Shot Put, Discus, Hammer Throw, Javelin and Weight Throw. I actually won one event the Weight Throw where you have to throw something that weighs 20lbs or 9.071kgs!!!



I still can't believe its all happened I am still in shock!!

I train 6 days a week lol I am at the point I almost have to pitch a tent outside the gym I am there more then the workers lol Although I am not going to be there as much this week have to rest up from the weekend so I don't injure myself pushing to far to early after a 3 day competition!!!
