I'm just starting the Blue Heaven, those two in there are quite on the strange side. This book overall is more strange than anything else, but this expected coming from Stephen King.
I'm working on The Waste Lands (Dark Tower 3) by Stephen King, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo and The Hobbit by Tolkien.
I just started listening to The Shining and I'm working on Full Dark, No Stars. I've read The Shining a lot of times, but I've never listened to the audio. It's pretty good so far.
I started reading the forest of hands and teeth. So far I like it.It's creepy enough and I like the main character.
I borrowed The Bad Beginning for my son to read on my Nook so I am doing a quick read of it also.I'm also starting Wolves of the Calla.
It's been something like fifteen years so I thought a re-read was in order.
Cujo
, anyone? Uncle Stephen has me scared of the closet again.

Hi, Kevin! That's awesome, I am glad you're enjoying what you've read so far!

Not busy enough.....I've been working on Les Miserables for a year and a half! lol
Dustin wrote: "ReallY!?! Is it a difficult read?"It's very dense! At over 1400 pages, there is a lot of history and politics that just go right over my head! lol. I love the story part, but definitely find myself having to take breaks from it here and there.
Yeah, I just clicked on its title and noticed the length. WOW. That's longer than The Stand, Unabidged! The story and characters seem interesting, though....I just might have to read it. Someday...
Les Mis is one that I hope to get to this year. I downloaded it to read on my nook, so I'm hoping that will help me read it sooner. The Count of Monte Cristo was the same way. It was 1300+ pages. I loved it, but I couldn't take it with me anywhere!
I'm just so frustrated because I do love the story! I've seen the play 5 times and do love it when the story does come up in the book. It's just the politics and history that really slow me down.
I just finished the most amazing YA book called "The Marbury Lens" by Andrew Smith - Has anyone else ever read it or heard about this book?
Dustin wrote: "I am FINALLY getting back into reading! Throughout the following week (perhaps a bit longer,) my goal is to complete my re-reading of To Kill A Mockingbird, and finish up Charming Billy!"I've been very naive, I guess, to actually think that my drive had returned....it's GONE!!
Glad you liked The Dark Tower, Kevin! I love that series and am currently working on a reread!Valerie, enjoy! I loved Under The Dome! :)
Finished Demon Thief and Wolf Island By Darren Shan not as good as Lord Loss but still readable now I'm reading Death's Shadow By Darren Shan and nearly finished Personal Demon By Kelley Armstrong
Erica wrote: "Dustin - I feel your pain! I don't feel the drive, either."Really, Erica!?! It;s good to know that I'm not the only one!
I just finished Full Dark, No Stars and loved it. I'm only a few pages into Bad Things by Michael Marshall
I'm reading The Waste Lands by Mr. King of course. I'm new to the series, and it's a fav of mine already. I love the way it's written and King's endless imagination.
Irene wrote: "I just finished Full Dark, No Stars and loved it. I'm only a few pages into Bad Things by Michael Marshall"Loved "Bad Things". I am a big Marshall fan and love all his books. If you haven't checked the rest out, you really should.

Thanks Gatorman. I will be sure to check out his other books. I had never heard of him before until Bad Things was mentioned in the last issue of Cemetery Dance magazine.
Susanna wrote: "Just starting Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead."The Fountainhead is a really amazing book. I want to know what you thought of it after you are done. I love it.
