Agreed, I didn't like 'The Lost Symbol' either, hoping this one is much better.

I'm reading NOS4A2 at the moment... Great read :)

That's one of those books where I didn't see what all the hype was about. It's got cracking reviews but it didn't really float my boat

To each their own, right? I could say the same about The Help

It sounded like great, compelling reading at first, but I ended up giving it only 2 stars.. It's all hype, pretty much.


Wow, you are just flying through the trilogy, Aditya! So what do you think so far? Did you enjoy the 2nd book?

My two current reads are By the Light of Moon by Dean Koontz and Writing Fiction: The Practical Guide From New York's Acclaimed Creative Writing School.

I think I might have read the Koontz title before.. I'll have to look into it..


Yeah I had a lot of free time as of late so getting through them pretty fast.Straw Men was good though the ending left some loose ends.The 2nd book however was all over the place.Lets see how the third one holds up.
What did you feel about them or did you just read the first one & not the rest?

Hm, that's interesting, Aditya, because the 2nd book in that I read is called The Upright Man, but apparently they're one and the same because the synopsis is EXACT. Weird, huh?
