There is, but it becomes more about the love story at this point. The scenes aren't overly graphic, but intense due to their absolute devotion to eachother.

message 55: by [deleted user] (new)

Im really feeling there devotion .. and i have no idea were the story will go .. i love that hate nowing what happens

Yes, I've read the first 3, I stopped after a while, cause I couldn't handle all the inane name brand dropping. I wasn't really into the knowledge that she drank 'folgers' coffee, or Packed her clothes in her 'LL Bean Bag', etc etc. It just went on, and I found it annoying. Plus, when I read, I need it to be somewhat historical, I am not overly in to reading anything contemporary, paranormal or not. I prefer the history. Other than that, the stories were decent.

What about Demonica serious?? love supernatural ..think i might go there after outlander ..

I don't have anything against supernatural.. I just prefer them more in a historical setting. What is 'Demonica'?

message 60: by [deleted user] (new)

well, its better to go in order, cause then you understand the stories happening around them.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series is my fav! The books are awesome and I totally recommend them. Book 1, Dark Lover is a little weak because it's the first book and it's setting up the world for you, but it's not bad. The name brand dropping gets a lot better after the first couple. And if you want HOT scenes, Rachael, you should try them! :)

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Alycia thanks for that ... i heard the first book was weak thats why i was goin to start with the third ...have you read Larissa Ione "demnica" serious...

The BDB series builds upon each book, I would recommend reading them in order. No, but I have the first book. I have heard mixed things about it. I saw Kelly recommended Bikini Diaries to you by Lacey Alexander. That was the second romantica/erotica I have ever read, first one I liked. I would recommend Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers Series to you. Book 1 is Wicked Ties, book 2 is Decadent. Book 3 is coming out soon, Delicious. She also has a paranormal series out. The first book is on my tbr list. For historical romance with some hot romantic scenes, I would recommend Lisa Kleypas to you.

anyone read these?

Okay, so this is the cover of the book I found today, in the spirit of TBH, I figured it would be one I should try.

Once I finish T & A, I am going to start The Tea Rose. I have seen it several times when browsing bookstores, but haven't picked it up. But I have heard a buzz about it lately here at GR and decided to try it.

I am really enjoying this series, Arlene! I have loved them all so far, I think my favorites are Winter then Autumn. Have you read any other series?

Christine (Cagnes) (cagnes) | 15 comments Woohoo...finally got my hands on Tatiana and Alexander!!! I ordered used versions of T&A and The Summer Garden. I was really suffering, since Summer Garden came in last week & T&A just came in today.... now all is well! Thank goodness, my husband will be fishing tomorrow, so I can spend my whole day reading!

Overall I really liked the series. They are fun fast reads with a h/h you can't help but love. Could she have developed some characters more yes. If you are looking for a fun vampire series with a great mix of action and romance then this will probably be for you.

And blimey luv it is Bones after all....... what's not to like!!!!!

It's really good Rachael! The first 2 chapters are a little slow. Pace picks up on the third chapter and isn't a problem anymore. I'm on p. 146 and so many interesting things are happening. I think as long as the story doesn't rush at the end, this will be a really good epic historical w/ romance. I would recommend it.

Mishelle LaBrash (mishalabrash) Okay, so I am currently reading The Red Scarf by Kate Furnivall and am loving it, another Impossible love story based in Russia, during Stalin's reign. So far, I can't put it down. It's not quite as sexy as TBH, but certainly just as good.
