I am just starting
. I finished
last night- LOVED IT!!! What an awesome book!! :o) Thanks for everyone who recommended it!! I gave it 5 stars!
Finished Death's Mistress last night. Pretty good book. I started Tempting the Beast which is book #1 in her Breed series. It's really very good.
Finished Tempting the Beast, Rapture and Pleasure. Really liked all three books. I'm reading A Girl's Guide to Vampires. Funny book.
I finished reading This Is All I Ask - what a wonderful book!! I loved it! I am now reading The Devil Wears Tartan. I'm on page 70... so far not so good... :o(
I finished The Secret by Julie Garwood, and really enjoyed it. For a break from historical romance, I'll be starting Gone Too Far by Suzanne Brockmann.
I just started The Forbidden Lord by Sabrina Jeffries and it's awesome! In one day I've read 292 pages- can't put it down!
Jacqueline wrote: "I just started The Forbidden Lord by Sabrina Jeffries and it's awesome! In one day I've read 292 pages- can't put it down!"Wow! Sounds good!! I LOVE reading books that I can't put down... although it makes me grumpy when I HAVE to put it down!
Michelle wrote: "I finished The Secret by Julie Garwood, and really enjoyed it. For a break from historical romance, I'll be starting Gone Too Far by Suzanne Brockmann."I know what you mean! I'm currently reading Taboo. It's another HR, but erotica, so it is different from a normal HR. After that though I think I'm going to read As Shadows Fade. It's PNR... but HR as well. LOL. Oh well.

It's awesome! I'm so happy, too, because I've been going through a Bad Book Funky recently, and was praying for a funk buster, lol.
Me, too! Midnight came and went and I was so mad I had to go to sleep! Damn sleep! *Grumbles* It's such a pain when a Grand Awesome Book is present! LMAO
I hate when I read a bunch of bad books in a row, but then it feels so good to read a bunch of great books in a row! I know- sleep! PPHA! LOL. Who needs it!?
I decided to put Gone Too Far by Suzanne Brockmann on hold, since it's the 6th book in its series, and start from the beginning at some point. So, I've started Lover Eternal by JR Ward, and also will be started Wild Card by Lora Leigh, in an attempt to get my TBR pile down a little faster; which just keeps growing anyway, so I don't know what difference it'll make, lol!
I finished Blood Magic, Shift, Simply Magic and The Man Within all really good books. I'm now reading Dates From Hell and was very sad/happy to see Kisten in the Harrison story.
I finished Taboo which was pretty disappointing. I'm starting As Shadows Fade now. It'll feel good to finally finish at least ONE series!!
Finished Dates From Hell, Sword of Darkness, Black Magic Sanction and liked those books. Disliked Chain Lightning a lot. Now I'm reading Heart of Darkness, which is okay.
listening to ..The Last Surgeon not a romance but - good thriller. ----- does anyone know why my spell check on GR would stop working? - i didn't change anything but my grandson punched a lot of keys....??

Well that's Bookie for ya. Ummm... I didn't even know there was a spell check here on GR, so I don't think I'd be of any help.
In another group, I mentioned how I just don't seem to reading as fast, or as many books per month as I used too. Danielle suggested a "palate cleanser". So I decided that a short story or two might be just what I need and stared
. Right now I'm reading the short story by Angela Knight - Seduction's Gift.
Megan wrote: "I finished
which was awesome! I have started the second book in the Atlantis series
."I'm reading both of those in April Megan.
I couldn't finish the audiotape of Women in Love. The narrator talked so fast and I couldn't take it anymore. I finished reading Heart of Darkness, 2 out of the 3 stories were okay. The 3rd was bad. I'm reading Highland Vow, which I'm really liking so far.
I finished Lover Eternal. I'm probably one of the few, but I find the BDB series a difficult to get into. I do plan on reading the next one in the series at some point.
Carolyn F. wrote: "I skip all the parts with the O people. That story is just too much for me."That's exactly what I started doing about 1/2 way through. I felt like those chapters really dragged on and on. I'm glad I'm not the only way who felt that way.
I finished Seduction's Gift by Angela Knight, and decided to start Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson.

Great! I LOVED the first one! The beginning of Jewel of Atlantis was good, but slowed down, but it's picking back up again and I'm enjoying it. I hope you enjoy them in April!
I just finished Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. I thought it was really good. I'm moving on to Ransom by Julie Garwood.
Michelle wrote: "I just finished Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. I thought it was really good. I'm moving on to Ransom by Julie Garwood."Is Ransom by JG a sequel to her book The Secret? I thought it was, but now I can't remember. Are they both set in the middle ages?
Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "I just finished Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. I thought it was really good. I'm moving on to Ransom by Julie Garwood."Is Ransom by JG ..."
You're right. Ransom is about one of the other characters from The Secret. Honestly, I started reading it last night, but was so tired, I can't remember anything that I've read. I'll be starting it over today, after I get my new dog of course! But, from what I know of your taste in reading, I think you'll love Julie Garwood.

I'm sure you are right, especially since you and my mom both love JG. I'll have to read them sometime (as I do have them)... but I'm trying SO hard to get through some PNR that have been on my shelves FOREVER... BDB, the Kresley Cole series, Lords of the Underworld, etc. etc. etc...
Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "I just finished Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. I thought it was really good. I'm moving on to Ransom by Juli..."I need to finish up some of those too. Plus, the Demonica series, the Megaverse series, Psy-Changeling series, and so many more. I think I'll give audiobooks another try, I just need to see which pnr audiobooks my library has available.
Michelle wrote: "Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "I just finished Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. I thought it was really good. I'm moving on to [book:Ransom|1..."Michelle - I've been telling Megan for YEARS she needs to read some JG.
Ruth wrote: "Michelle wrote: "Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "Megan wrote: "Michelle wrote: "I just finished Undead and Unwed by Mary Janice Davidson. I thought it was really good. I'm moving on ..."I'll be sure to reinforce what you've been telling her. I'm kicking myself for not reading any Julie Garwood novels sooner than I did. I didn't know what I was missing!
LOL- I'm TRYING to READ EVERYTHING as FAST as I CAN!! I don't know what else to tell you two! I have over 550 books on my TBR shelf!!! Geezy pezy people!! ;o)

LOL- I can't help it... YEARS of being around my dad... he says it constantly... see... more proof that we DO turn into our parents! ;o)
I finished To Seduce A Sinner, Black Ice and Kiss of Midnight. I really liked all three of these books. I'm starting Dead of Night today.
Carolyn F. wrote: "I finished To Seduce A Sinner, Black Ice and Kiss of Midnight. I really liked all three of these books. I'm starting Dead of Night today."Wow Carolyn! You're really getting through your books; I'm so jealous!
I did that read-a-thon this weekend and read a lot more than usual. I'm trying very hard to finish all the challenges I signed up for - well at least all but one. :)
I finished Veil of Midnight and Highland Savage, both were pretty good. I'm now reading Elizabeth's Wolf (Breeds, #3) and really like it.
I'm glad you are enjoying your books Carolyn! I finished Requiem for the Devil a couple of days ago- I loved it! Probably the best book I have ever read. I am almost finished with
which is REALLY good too!I really hope you enjoy
Michelle!

Carolyn, have you read any other Dirk & Steele novels? I read Tiger Eye, and then started Shadow Touch, but couldn't get into it right away, so I put it on hold.
