I finished One Wicked Sin and I'm about halfway through
and I'm really liking this author! Definitely wanna go and find more by her.
I finished
. It was okay, I have the next one in the series, and look forward to reading it one day. I'd recommend to readers who enjoy histotical romance with a paranormal element.

I finished
okay, not a keeper though. I'm reading one short story in
to keep me busy until
comes out tomorrow
I've got quite a few going at once, as is the norm for me. but I have even more than usual at the moment.PRINT:

I finished
, which I loved! It was just a different sort of shape shifter story for me. I can't believe I had this book for almost 2 yrs, and just now got around to reading it, shame on me!

I still am in awe, and I still don't know how you do it. My brain would implode. Not only so many different titles, but different genres at once too. Oy!

Actually I find that reading books from different genres makes it easier to keep characters and plot lines from blurring together.
Sandra J wrote: "Actually I find that reading books from different genres makes it easier to keep characters and plot lines from blurring together..."Exactly Sandra! If I read 7 Romantic suspense at one time or any other genre for all the books I'd be lost figuring out which characters and plots go with which book. Genre variety makes it much easier to keep them straight. Less likely to mix up a vampire and a CIA agent than I am a vampire and a vampire. LOL

Yes, I can see how that's true. I just recently was juggling 3 books, and I didn't have a problem knowing what was going on in each one.
I'm still working on
, but I should be done with that soon. I know I'll stick with historical romance. I'm just not sure if I'll start
, or stay with the Knight Miscellany series and go with
.
As soon as I finish Room, I'll finally be able to jump into the Christmas stories, including this group's December read. I try to hold off on the Christmas stories until around the 15th, so I don't overload before the holiday is actually here. :O

I know what you mean. I'm still holding off on Christmas stories, movies, and music for another week or so. That way, my holiday spirit is at it peak on the actual day, LOL!
I finished
. It was a quick and easy read, with some pretty funny moments. I'm definitely looking forward to buying
when it comes out.

I finished Room over the weekend and read 2 of my Christmas stories today! An Enchanted Season and A Redbird Christmas. Great reads both!
Sandra J wrote: "I just started

?
The story is called "Two Blondes." The anthology has a copyright of 2010, so it's probably a new story. I quit the Sookie series at book 4, and I haven't read any stellar reviews of this anthology. However, I got it out of the library so I'm not out any money if it's a dud. I took it out to try out some new to me authors. The Jeaniene Frost story, "One for the Money," was okay.
I finally finished
, which I actually thought was a little disappointing and anti-climactic. I'm moving onto a palate cleanser:
I finished Death's Excellent Vacation which was an okay read. I'm glad I didn't buy it since there's nothing in it I want to reread (and I reread a lot). It's worth a trip to the library to try it out though. I only found two stories out of the thirteen that I didn't finish.
I finished
, two stories were okay, but the one by Deborah Simmons was AMAZING!! I'm going to try to read a library book next-
It's not that
isn't good, I just can't get into it right now for some reason. So, what I'm planning to do is focus on
, so I can be done reading it by the end of the year, and maybe read a novella from
.
I finished
which was amazing! I will be starting
right now (I'm at work), and will probably pick it back up on Sunday... you know, I'll TRY to have a life with my family tomorrow! ;o)I too, wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!
I finally finished
! It seems as if it took forever. If there was ever a time when I needed a quick, easy, and light read, its now. I'm going through my books to see what palate cleanser's I have.
I'm having the hardest time deciding on, and then staying committed to any one book lately. Any suggestions?
Michelle wrote: "I'm having the hardest time deciding on, and then staying committed to any one book lately. Any suggestions?"Is there a shorter book you have been meaning to read? Or maybe only one or two stories from an anthology that you have been meaning to read? I have also found that a YA book once in awhile is a good palate cleanser.

Thanks Megan. I'm starting
, which should be a quick an easy read.
I finished reading Heiress to a Curse by Zandria Munson, which I thought was pretty good. It was nice to read about about a different sort of paranormal being for a change. I'm off to decide on my next read.
I decided to catch up to my friends that love Vampire Academy, and read
. I hate for this series to end :(

before Jan. 1st."I've been meaning to read Dracula in Love for a while now. I can't wait to see what you think!
I finished
and I am sorry to say that I didn't like it... at all. My next book will be... I dunno. Probably one of my challenge books that I'll start on Saturday.
I've gone crazy buying ebooks. So today, I started reading
,
, and flirted with the idea of starting
, while still working on
.
I finished reading
, and
. Both were great reads! I'm going continue giving my Nook a workout, and read
.HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
Megan wrote: "I finished
which was AMAZING!"I read it a couple months ago. Or listened, rather. Excellent book. I didn't realize at the time it was going to be a movie out later this year too. Found that out after I finished it. I don't like the pics I've seen though from the movie because they didn't make him look like the beast as described in the book, which was disappointing.
I know Kelley- I noticed that too. It looks like they made him bald and with tattoos or something? Still looks human to me- when he should be a beast. It just makes me wonder what else they changed (from that wonderful book!) I'm glad you liked the book too. How was the reader of the audio?
Megan wrote: "I know Kelley- I noticed that too. It looks like they made him bald and with tattoos or something? Still looks human to me- when he should be a beast. I loved the book. But Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale so I expexcted to like it. The narrator was excellent for the story and did a good job. I hate when you get one with a bad performer.
