message 654: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I've only heard wonderful things about the books. You haven't read any?

message 655: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments Nope, not a one. The reason is that the series was supposed to have ended with the last book that came out, so I was waiting until we had them all. But then, apparently there was some publishing delay or the author had a problem and couldn't get it done on time, so now instead of being over, there are to be 2 more books. Or something like that. So I'm going to keep waiting for the final book before I start the series.

Carol Cork *Young at Heart Oldie* (httpsrakesandrascalswordpresscom) | 2140 comments Can anyone recommend His at Night by Sherry Thomas ? The book trailer alone would tempt me to read it. I think it's hilarious.

Bekah (bekah317) | 2750 comments So I'm on the last last last pages of The Wicked Ways of a Duke, and I went to look up who the next book in the series is about and got really excited about the plot --- so I ran really quickly to my UBS,(I'm lucky that its literally right down the street from my work - or maybe thats not really luck --- and AND since they are laying me off, it's not as if I'm actually working) Anyway, I went to see if they had it and NO, big FAT NO! So disappointing. But what I did find was By Arrangement (Medieval #4) by Madeline Hunter The Protector (Medieval #5) by Madeline Hunter and Stealing Heaven (Medieval #3) by Madeline Hunter for $2 a piece!!!!

I didn't expect to like Laura Lee Guhrke as much as I do! Off to find her books online!

:-)

What did people in general think about "Ten Things"? I found it quite a funny read but I have totally forgotten it now. I liked that the HH weren't rich or titled. The best character was definitely the grandmother. I'm going to pass on Julia Quinn for a bit I think.

Thus far, I'm drudging along the book. I actually like
What Happens in London better than this book thus far. You could say I'm picky.

Admina - I too love Megan McKinney. Lions and Lace is one of my favs. I was really upset with the hero in The Fortune Hunter - didn't feel he redeemed himself enough for the way he treated the heroine or the names he called her.

Yes, I've read "To Wed a Wicked Earl" and really enjoyed it. Have "At the Bride Hunt Ball" on my to- read list. Looking forward to reading it. I used to buy several books a month but now I can only get a couple a month (usually my husband kindly pays for them for me). Of course, this month, it has been "One Dance with a Duke" and "Love in the Afternoon" for the group read. Unfortunately, I can't get the books from the local library as it is quite small.
