I loved it also. It was't a typical romance and it had a really deep storyline, so good. Lisa Kleypas is such a great author and isn't afraid to dive into a not so pretty story.
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "Are you loving/liking/hating/so-so'ing it, Julie?"I'm liking it so far, but it's been a little lighter than I typically expect from LK. There also hasn't been much character development for Simon. I usually instantly fall for LK's heroes, but on page 165, I barely feel like I know him yet. I still have well over half the book to go though, so maybe she'll pull out a "wow" on me yet. If not, it should still be a pretty good read.:-)
Im trying to get my hands on 'The Madness Of Lord Ian MacKenzie' jennifer ashley but have been advised its out of stock...I guess ill have to go to EBAY.Susan Elizabeth Phillips is one of my FAVs
But she takes so long to get a book out- its agonizing, but no complaining because her characters and storyline arent flimsy
Tanith, thanks for that info... I'm busy catching up SEP's backlist, guess I should pace myself. I read on her website, she doesn't have a book due out until '11.
I finished The Morganville Vampires, If You Dare, Jacob's Faith and Bitter Moon I: Triane's Son Ascending. I'm now reading Bitter Moon II: Triane's Son Reigning.
Before starting to read Married by Morning, I re-read It Happened One Autumn. I forgot how funny it was particularly when Lillian turns green and nearly throws up at the dinner table !
I've just finished re-reading the Hathaways and also Married by Morning which I pre-ordered from the Book depository and recieved Monday (spent all night Monday devouring it ) and I am currently reading Fall from Grace by Sandra Worth and also So enchanting by Connie Brockway which I am really enjoying I haven't read ana thing by ner for a long time I am waiting for the discussion to start on Married by Morning sue

It's good so far but did you notice the similarities between this and Patricia Brigg's Mercy books. They're both American Indians living in Washington State who are both mechanics, who can change into coyotes and deal with the Fae. Murphy's book was published in in 2005 and the first Mercy was published in 2006. I think this is too strange.

I think CE Murphy went more into the celtic mythology and the NA mythology than Briggs. Briggs is more into the werewolf aspects with her books.
I've just ordered "The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie" by Jennifer Ashley. In the meantime, I'm reading "Stillwatch" by Mary Higgins Clark.
"The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie"- such a great read.I just finished Hard and Fast by Erin McCarthy. It got really good reviews but I wasn't drawn in by the characters

Lady Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "Argh! Why did you have to say that, Megan? Now, I have to read these books!"lol, they are great, you will love them! These are my first books by Linda Lael Miller. She is such a great author, quickly becoming a favorite of mine. One paragraph I'll be laughing so hard, and the next I'll be blushing and making the old hubby suspicious. There is one scene is the third book that happens at Wal Mart, and OMG, too funny/hot. Definitely would recommend them, especially is you like reformed bad boys/cowboys. Yum!

I finished Burning Alive which was really good. I'm now trying to finish Wolf Tales I, which started out great but is slowly fizzling.
I finished Wolf Tales I, Bullet, To Taste Temptation and Seduced by Moonlight (Meredith Gentry, #3). I'm now listening to Naked in Death and reading Hotter Than Hell.

OMG, I am sooooooooo envious of you!!! I want to read it again. That's it, I'm getting it out now. LOL It's soooooo sooooo good! Next you need to read The Wedding, it's the sequel and funny too.

Megan, you should check out At the Bride Hunt Ball by Olivia Parker. She's not Garwood, but her heroine, Madelyn, reminded me of some of Garwood's heroines. Funny stuff.

You're welcome!!! I recommended it to a few people, then couldn't remember who. Sorry!! It's a great, light read.I'm reading the sequel,
right now and really liking it as well.

I gave it 3 stars, which I rarely do. It wasn't bad, but it was in the romance section, not mystery, and it was definitely mystery more than anything. It was good overall and not like anything I've ever read before. I'm just stuck on romance books right now and can't seem to move on to anything else at the moment, much to my husbands dislike, lol. He calls my romance book "fantasy books", lol I married a smart@ss.
