I just saw that when I listed what I was reading that it was book #5 but it doesn't read like a series book, more like a stand alone. It's good so far, but I've only just started it.
Ok, here I go, getting started on The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie! I'll let you know how it's going later :)

Ok, so I'm enjoying Lord Ian, I'm only on page 70 though. Let me just say I have done a double-take at several things Ian has said- he is rather blunt just says whatever he's thinking huh? I'm looking forward to spending more time with him later!
I loved Lord Ian! I loved this book and can;t wiat for the next one...Hart will be yummy I am sure!

ME TOO Dhestiny...he is so direct! Love it!
I'm finishing up Behind Closed Doors and really loving it. Its very hot..lots of action...Seth is very much the Alpha male. Its been fun watching him fall.... When I start nearing the end of a book I always start relishing the search for the next one to read through my tbr pile, but Shannon McKenna really did a good job of setting up the next book in the series so now I'm really eager to read it!PS: I just bought 6 more books yesterday!!!!
I finished The Protector and ended up liking it. I think this is the first Madeline Hunter book I've read. I'm now reading My Immortal.

I like it when authors deal with some issue or illness and then put information about it in the Author's Note. LK's Blue Eyed Devil is an example. I'm thinking based on your comments that this author doesn't have anything like that.
I tried to shorten the book title but it just came out wrong "LK did this in BED" so I reworked the sentence.

I adore Ian, as I've said over and over. His is a great story and it was so well written that the foundation for the next books (his brothers' stories) is already layed. I love all the Mackenzies.
Robin, this is my review of The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie. It's long, but there are very few plot spoilers... I talk more about the many little things that make Ian, Ian.http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Don't feel like you have to read it, it's just there for you if you're interested.
I'm reading North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell. I find it a harder read than normal because of the time period it was written, but I just love it. I have to take breaks from it and read books that have more sex every once in a while though. I had to read it after seeing the mini series and developing an obsession with Richard Armitage.

I've not read that particular book but I am making my way through Jane Austen's novels and they can be difficult to read. And in her books there are no kisses or even embraces so it can be kind of a let down, especially right after the h/h profess their love to one another and there is no physical reaction!

The rain scene when Mr. Darcy professes his love.
Movies where the stuff beyond the kiss is implied you know and they kissed ... fade to black and you either see them going to sleep or waking in each other arms are great but when it comes to massive amounts of detail I'd much rather read it then watch, I love to read it. :)
yep, what you all said, read it rather than watch.

Me too Danielle! It seems whenever I finally get around to buying books that I have wanted to read something else comes along that I want to read too, and then there are the series that keep producing new books (ahem, Hathaway series!)....

I'm reading and loving
. It's an anthology with 3 stories, each about 100 pages. I love Mary Wine's Highlanders and her story in this book is good. I also loved Susan Johnson's contribution which had me smiling a LOT. I'm reading Terri Brisbin's story now. It seems to be taking on a slightly.. fantasy.. flavor. I haven't figured that one out yet, but I just started.
