Okay, so I'm tackling two books at once right now...
I'm reading this slowly because I don't want the series to be over. :(
Re-read for the BDB group. They want to do a book a week, but I'll be lucky if i don't finish a book every couple of days. LOL
Heidi, I saw the whole thing on You Tube...some kind soul went to the trouble of putting the entire 4 part series on there, and it's very good quality!
Cheryl wrote: "All right ladies, I need some help! I have read several pretty intense books lately and I am in need of something else! I would like something fun, easy to read, laugh-out-loud funny and of cours..."Romance with laughter I say Julie Garwoods The Bride.
Kelly wrote: "Romance with laughter I say Julie Garwoods The Bride."The Bride just so happens to be my all-time favorite book!! Loved it! Thanks for the suggestion though. I actually haven't read anything for the past two days, I'm hoping by abstaining from reading anything it won't matter what type of book I pick up next, we'll see!
Went to pick up a book at the Library and they also saw a LK book When Strangers Marry. I think I will start it tonight. Maybe I can fit it into a challenge somehow.

Hope its ok I decided to follow the link to see if you were talking about the North and South that came to my mind. Turns out you weren't. I thought of the one by John Jakes.
I'm currently reading
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See & listening to
The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield.Up next is
Someone to Watch Over Me. I'm really looking forward starting the Bow Street Runners series!
NICK GENTRY....(((swoooooon)))
Heidi wrote: "NICK GENTRY....(((swoooooon)))"Didn't have a clue about Nick Gentry, but now I know just having finished Lady Sophia's Lover (Bow Street #2). I'll definitively have to get busy & read BSR #3, so I can find out more about the intriguing Nick Gentry!

Admittedly not a lot of filler but its actually pretty easy to follow and moves quickly. I don't want to give any spoilers so that's all I will say. I'm almost done with it.
Well since its a short read .. it might do good in the book challenge !!!!thanks pamela
Ow BTW we are out of that wonderful french brandy you suprised us with last week .. in the parlor ..
Somebody frank it all
***bowing head in shame***

I got a crate of it being delivered here tomorrow :)
Drink up, me hardies!
Not sure this is where this goes. Its not a pet peeve so I know it doesn't go on that thread and this one seems the closest if not correct. Anyway, I just finished reading Suddenly by Candace Camp. (I really liked it) The edition currently in stories has a similar cover to Someone To Watch Over Me by LK (Aqua colors lady lounging at bottom on one and at top on other and similar if not same pose) LK wrote Suddenly You. I keep seeing it thinking its one I want but don't have then realizing its the book I just read with a different cover. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or is it just me? I think its finally sticking that Huxtable = MB and Hathaway = LK
I am reading Like No Other Lover by Julie Anne Long and am enjoying it! When I first started it on Friday night I thought ugh, another dud! So I put it down and started on it again last night and it is much better! I don't know what was with my mood for the past week but I think it is gone now and I am seeing things with a much brighter outlook. :)Next in my reading line-up is The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie-- hope I like it as well as so many others have!
I'm reading Behind Closed Doors. I just finished Cry No More - it was a great book! I loved it. So far BCD is pretty good.....certainly steamy. :-)
Cheryl wrote: "Next in my reading line-up is The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie-- hope I like it as well as so many others have!..."Oh, I hope you love it as much as I did! Let us know!
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "Oh, I hope you love it as much as I did! Let us know!"I will definitely let you know!! Now that I am hopefully over that funk I was in, I am sure I will enjoy it! I think it was the weather-- I am so tired of the rain and cold!
I finally rounded up all of Pamela Clare's historical books so I'm ready to start my PC Readfest! First up is SWEET RELEASE. I'm addicted to Clare's "I-Team" contemporaries. Having never read the historicals, I'm very excited!
My books I ordered finally arrived in the mail-- The Leopard Prince, The Serpent Prince and Passion!!! I'm so happy that I am doing a happy dance right now!! [image error]
UniquelyMoi *~*Dhestiny*~* wrote: "ROFL!!! I love your happy dance smiley! So, which are you going to read first???"Oooh, that's a tough question! I'll probably try to incorporate them somehow into one of the reading challenges but I may not be able to wait that long!
Cheryl wrote: "My books I ordered finally arrived in the mail-- The Leopard Prince, The Serpent Prince and Passion!!! I'm so happy that I am doing a happy dance right n..."lol, I got Passion in the mail today too!! I'm currently in the process in trying to get the prince trilogy!
Bekah wrote: "lol, I got Passion in the mail today too!! I'm currently in the process in trying to get the prince trilogy! "Yay! I am especially excited to read that one!! Did you read the first book in the Princes Trilogy, The Raven Prince? I read it a couple of weeks ago and it was very good... now I am so excited to read the others!
You can't go wrong with ELizabeth Hoyt!
I hope so, I've never read anything by her, but I hear she's a great alternative to LK. Speaking of LK...I loaned my copy of Sugar Daddy to a chick I work with a couple of weeks ago...and I guess this weekend she decided to pick it up and she came in telling me how much she loved it and were there more books! I said OF COURSE...so taking Blue Eyed Devil to her tomorrow!!!
Cheryl wrote: "My books I ordered finally arrived in the mail-- The Leopard Prince, The Serpent Prince and Passion!!! I'm so happy that I am doing a happy dance right n..."Oh I LOVED Passion!
