message 370: by new_user (new)

message 389: by Valorie (new)

Valorie Well I just finished The Silver Wolf, sloooooow is all I can say. I think it was the slowest moving book I've ever read. Pretty shocking since she is Anne Rice's sister. Not sure if I'll read the next book in the series. I'm going to be starting on Eve of Chaos (Marked, Book 3) by S.J. Day next. I've really enjoyed that series. I need a good pick me up after The Silver Wolf!

This series has been one of my most favorite new discoveries lately. I wish she would come out with a new one. She does need different cover art because they are so cheesy and don't do the books justice.

message 391: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I agree Darcy! I love the series, but the covers are a bit cheesy. I really hope she writes another book in the series soon!

Right now I'm reading Death Masks (The Dresden Files, #5) by Jim Butcher and The Princess Bride by William Goldman

message 400: by Anna (new)

Anna (stregamari) I thought "the Host" was pretty incredible also. Well written, intense, the characters were put together in such a way that they were believable and you could empathize with them, if not for them
