message 56: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Cherra can you please tell me what Shiver is like? I saw it in the shops the other day but it was only in hardcover. D:

I finished Halfway To The Grave. Not sure what I am going to read next! Have to many options. >:/

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I just finished On a Highland Shore by Kathleen Givens and it was wonderful! While it's not heavy PNR, there are some spiritual things... an old woman who is the King's Seer, but the actual PNR part is very light.

Not at all! I read that first and didn't feel like I was missing a thing. I haven't read anything else by Loretta Chase, though I plan to.

I ♥ Bookie Nookie (bookienookiereviews.blogspot.com) (ibookienookie) Almost finished with Iron Kissed (Mercedes Thompson, #3) by Patricia Briggs and I think this is my favorite so far in the series. I Love Alpha male tendancies--when I am reading a book ;-)

I'm listening to the Mercy's and just finished Blood Bound last night--I'll start Iron Kissed tomorrow morning on my way to work, unless my kids have no school because of the 10-13 inches of snow expected, but I digress. :)

But I totally agree--if I named my top 5 fave male characters from books, I'd probably hate all of them in real life. :)

Oh...totally. Love that dominance on the page--I would go nutz in real life. I finished Iron Kissed--so good! It started out a litttle slow for the first 50 or so pages but once it takes off...

message 100: by Mel (new)

Mel (mel_b) | 1384 comments Don't worry Joyce. Though I think sometime her pacing is off (and sometimes I really hate Rachel) Kim Harrison knows how to write. Her scenes and world are very real. It reads like a script. They are good quality books.
