It is one that I picked up today and have been looking forward to based on how the cover looked."It was good, I liked it. It wasn't amazing or anything, but it was a decent read. It had an interesting storyline, but I felt a little lost in the beginning. I have a feeling the second book is going to be even better.
Jess that for letting me know. I'll make sure to give it a little longer than I would normally if it starts out slow.

Jess this sounds like it might be a slower read to take in the world and character building. I don't mind that as long as there is story along with all the info dumps.

I finished Hunting Ground and I still have a million of book left to read! :/Going to read Stolen next! :D
Finished Prey. Such a good series. Now I'm starting The Good, the Bad, and the Undead. First time reading Kim Harrison.
I am currently reading "Covet" by JR Ward. I am just almost 200 pages in and loving it! It is a great "roller coaster" read. So far, I might say this book is as good if not better than the "BDB" series.
Carolyn, not sure if you are aware but that is the second book in the series. You may want to wait and read Dead Witch Walking first. I know some people can read series out of order, but I am just not one of them.
Oops, I'm read Dead Witch Walking first. I wasn't able to start it at lunch so I'll switch it tonight. Thanks Darcy.
Carolyn for this series there is so much world building that it is definitely better to read in order. Good thing your lunch plans didn't work out. LOL
Darcy wrote: "I'm getting ready to start

I just finished
and really enjoyed it. I loved that she used the Spartans as the male heroes. I just kept picturing the hot men from the 300 movie through the whole book - YUM! I'm now moving on to
Just finished
Absolutely loved it! I cannot wait for the next book in the series!
Next up is
(it's due back to the library in a day or 2)
Melodie, drop back and let me know what you think of the new Kitty book. I loved parts of it and thought the first half was super funny, classic Kitty.I do agree with you about Raises Hell better than Dead Man's hand.
Finished
and
. Right now I'm about a third of the way through

, which I'm REALLY liking. Next I'm going to start
.

I'm really looking forward to Crave.

Jess, I would move this one up in your list, I really liked it, it is very different from what is out there. I was worried at first because there was a lot of info in the first 20 pages, then they introduced one of the main characters and the story flew by from there. Some great points, the woman needs, yes that is needs 20,000-30,000 calories a day to survive. Just think of all the great food we could eat if that was us, chocolate, cheesecake, chips, and all the other bad food. Plus she has a violent hate and want to kill the woman how put her in her situation, which I loved as they started out as friends. The world was a fun one, where words like "I promise", "I owe you", and "honor" actually mean something and actually can do more than bullets, knives, and RPG's.
Starting Dead Witch Walking today. Was going to last night but thought I'd take a break and read a small book in between so read Loving Lies which I swear was recycled from one of Lora Leigh's Nauti books.

Thanks for the info Darcy!! I'm excited to read it. I have to see if the library has it.
I just started Skinwalker
it's interesting so far!
Jess wrote: I just started SkinwalkerSkinwalker (Jane Yellowrock, #1) it's interesting so far! Jess can you pop back here to let me know about this one. I keep seeing it all over all of a sudden and think it looks good.
I am going for
next. I have a friend that read it and she loved it. I thought the first one in the series was ok, so hopefully this one is better.
I finished Inked Anthology it was pretty good and I'm startingBound By Sin bk 3 in the series and i'm listening to J.D Robb Strangers in Death
Just started In Over Her Head the debut book from Judi Fennell. Reminiscent of MaryJanice Davidson's Fred the Mermaid series. Lots of fish humor.
I am starting Would-be Witch by Kimberly Frost.Mostly because I fear for my life. Amelia will murder me if I don't read it soon.
I just finished Vincent's My Soul to Save, and though I liked the overall plot, I'm feeling rather meh about it and finding it hard to write a review.
Michelle wrote: I am starting Would-be Witch by Kimberly Frost. Have fun with that book. I picked it up on a lark and ended up really liking it. The cover doesn't do the book justice. I think my favorite character is the cat, the interactions with it are super funny.
I'm almost finished with Claimed by Shadow, a Cassie Palmer book and trying to figure out if I want to slog through all her battles to the end. So far I like it ok but find myself rolling my eyes a little at the continuing chaos and admittedly funny but sometimes tiresome antics. My mind is in a whirl aas I look through all the threads and recommendations and try to decide what I want to read next. I'm kind of a snob about what I read....

I loved Ravenous, the first book. I'm hoping to get to Scorched soon!! Hope you enjoy it!
Sandra wrote: "I really enjoyed the Rachel Morgan series. I think she's coming out with another one soon?..."Yes, her new one comes out every spring. It's called
.
Valorie wrote: I loved Ravenous, the first book. I'm hoping to get to Scorched soon!! Hope you enjoy it! I am finding Scorched, not as good as Ravenous. I read about 40 pages last night and got bored, so put it down to read another. I picked it back up today and all day it was really easy to put down. I figured the second book would be more about the guys Alessandro worked with, but it is about Mac, the police detective. It almost reads like it isn't connected and would seem that way if not for Holly and Alessandro.

Well that sucks! Hopefully it will get better.
I finished Claimed by Shadow and am on to Embrace the Night The ending of Claimed was powerful and sad... All in all a good book.
