I ended up being very underwhelmed by this book and have no plans to read the next one.
Ditto all the "underwhelmed" comments about Hush, Hush. It was a wonderful concept and great cover art gone bad.
Sarah ~Sehrenity~ wrote: "Ditto all the "underwhelmed" comments about Hush, Hush. It was a wonderful concept and great cover art gone bad."I agree with you about the cover art. I just don't get all the buzz the book has gotten. For a lot of the book I was bored.
Man, I haven't been on here in ages! Schools been a pain, but I have managed to keep up with my reading :D *pat on back*So far:
Stray (Currently reading)
Rogue
Broken
At Grave's End

Well for those of us who don't know, what book are you talking about? Michael Crichton's?

Sandra--Prey & Shift by Rachel Vincent
and Ellen--it is already in some stores now. I got it at Borders Books--I'll bet that Barnes and Noble has it too. I cried like a baby in Prey--that was rough. I am excited about reading it, but sad because once it is over I will have to wait until fall for Alpha. it could be worse--could be a whole year. God Bless Rachel Vincent!

I listened to The Hunger Games on audio and enjoyed the experience and want to continue the same format with the same narrator. But I'm cheap and refuse to pay upwards of $20 on an audio book. Heck I don't even like paying more than $7 bucks for any book, period! So anything over that goes on my wish-list until the price comes down.
I'll look forward to hearing about your experience with Catching Fire! :)

Recent reads for me have been
(bleh, too cheesy, 2.5*),
(LOVED it! 5*), and
(LOVED it! 5*). Currently reading [image error] (it's really good so far, I see another 5* and yet another new series on my TBR).
Next up is probably
or
.
Mary ~ I am really liking Catching Fire. I know I am having to approach the book a lot slower than if I was reading, but that is ok as there is so much happening.I am glad to see there is another fan of Linda Robertson, I really like that series and it is different.

I haven't read anything by him, but was drawn in by the cover and how absurd (in a good way) it all sounded. Then when I picked up the book at the library my friend who works there told me he was good.
Darcy: He's very entertaining. Definitely try Gil's All Fright Diner. Company of Ogres was good too.
I finished
[image error]
and really liked Gena Showalter's story, Maggie Shayne's was just ok, and really didn't like Susan Krinard's. I'm now reading
[image error]
and loving it!!

I got about halfway through Rosemary and Rue last night after finishing Slave to Sensation. R&R is good so far. Kind of noir.
Jess wrote: "I'm about to start [image error]"I started it last night. About 150 pages in and I'm really liking it, so far.

I finished An Enchanted Season and A Kiss of Fate: A Novel. These books were okay. I'm now reading Master of Ecstasy, which reminds me a lot of Kresley Cole.

I read this back in November and ended up being really disappointed with it. It started out pretty good, but didn't end up that way.
