With who? (Or, is it whom ?)

I totally get it. I have read some really bad series for this exact reason. It would seem that I can't give up the hope that they will turn out to be not so sucky in the end. NEVER HAPPENS.

Edit: Seriously, the high wasted satin pants are to die for...and, when do you suppose shirtless super skinny rocker fell out of vogue? Shame.

Gotcha. I totally recognize it now, but I couldn't have told you who sang it 30 seconds ago.
Twelve American Poets, an old book from a sidewalk sale. Still working on The Worm Ouroboros. Rereading Contemplating Music: Challenges to Musicology before I have to return it to the library.

Never, in my book. Shirtless super skinny rocker boys are my favorite. Yum.

The story line is a bit jumpy but it's interesting.
I started Desperate Remedies by Thomas Hardy. It was running along in a very normal vein until suddenly there is some very weird lesbian action between a 46 year old woman and her 18 year old maid. In the endnotes it says Hardy changed some of the wording for later editions, because he was surprised people found it Sapphic. Uh huh.

What was the last book you read, Susan? And, did you love it?

Oh, never mind. Usually when I really love a book/series I have a hard time settling down to another read when it's over.

I can see that.
I can see that.

yes amelia, that is correct although i said it more in jest :)
I was just making sure I got the joke. :)
It has been quite a while since I read the one book in the series.

I'm sorry. Thanks for keeping on playing with me. :)

Thank you!!
:) You're great. You just need to watch your placement a bit more. Take advantage of the extra points, but also watch that you don't give me the opportunity to take advantage of them, if you can help it. I'll put a crappy word on a triple word score before I'll leave it open for you. ;)
