Lance Hampton used to be normal until a car accident killed him and his parents. Paramedics brought him back to a life he doesn't want: orphaned, uprooted, living with his uncle, and suddenly able to see how people die. At his new school he tries to keep to himself. At first glance, Hope doesn't think much of Lance (though a lot of the other girls do). He looks like the typical bad boy. No thank you...but then she meets his eyes and everything goes dark. She hears labored breathing. Rapid footsteps. And a thud as someone falls to the ground. Inside Lance's head, Hope just witnessed a vision of murder...her own.
Together, Hope and Lance try to catch a killer before he's red-handed. A killer who could be anywhere. Anyone. Sure Hope can read minds and Lance can see death, but they still can't see in the dark.

, at the end of last year, I've recently released a novella, which is a short follow-up to The Day We Are Born, and my next book is with my editor, and I'm hoping to have it out before the end of the year. My books are Young Adult, contemporary and realistic.

It doesn't stop Elle trying to get through her days in one piece, however. And when she finds out that her favorite band is playing at a nearby festival she faces the challenge of persuading her parents to let her out of their sight. Getting that right is going to take a lot of work, but she needs them to let her go – and she doesn’t mean only to the concert.
Bad-tempered best friend Libby is hatching all sorts of plans, and their ticket to the festival may just be Sam, a boy who seems to want to be more than just friends. Elle doesn’t have the energy for a boyfriend, though, but does she even have a choice? Because something weird happens every time she and Sam are in the same room…

Hey all, this is my first time interacting with Goodreads as an AUTHOR instead of a reader :) I wrote HIDING out of my experiences working with at risk kids at an emergency shelter and working with youth inside the church. I'm a pastor's kid, like one of the main characters, and I know from the inside just how hard it can be to grow up in the church and find a faith of your own.
