Welcome YA Authors and Readers!

My young adult urban fantasy is on sale for one week only. $0.99 on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Hope Murdoch was born dead. She took a breath two minutes later, and now is an almost-normal teen. On the normal list: a hopeless crush on the boy next door, a negative body image, and a (mis)diagnosis of ADHD. Not-so-normal: an exhausting and distracting ability to read minds.
Lance Hampton used to be normal until a car accident killed him and his parents. Paramedics brought him back to a life he doesn't want: orphaned, uprooted, living with his uncle, and suddenly able to see how people die. At his new school he tries to keep to himself. Seeing how completely strangers die is torture enough, let alone friends.
At first glance, Hope doesn't think much of Lance (though a lot of the other girls do). He looks like the typical bad boy. No thank you...but then she meets his eyes and everything goes dark. She hears labored breathing. Rapid footsteps. And a thud as someone falls to the ground. Inside Lance's head, Hope just witnessed a vision of murder...her own.
Together, Hope and Lance try to catch a killer before he's red-handed. A killer who could be anywhere. Anyone. Sure Hope can read minds and Lance can see death, but they still can't see in the dark.
Thanks for reading! Holly M. Campbell

Hello,
I have self published my third novel, "Quick Save," which can be downloaded for free from
Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Quick-Save-Just...
Barnes and Noble: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/quick...
"Quick Save" is a young adult novel set in the late 90s about two teenage males in rural West Virginia, one of whom has the ability to save and load his life like a video game.
One is a popular emotionally disturbed player. The other is an awkward misogynist who suffers from social anxiety. Neither feels a connection with their classmates at a rural West Virginia high school. Both are intelligent, feel isolated, and curious about the world outside of rural Appalachia. Through friendship, one learns about commitment, the other about how to connect with others. In the end, however, when the stakes are raised, neither saves the other.Their warped perceptions clash with reality after a heroine emerges from a tragic situation.

Hello ALL!!
I am author of Pneuma. And I am having book 2 come out, Surge and was wondering if there were any bloggers out there who want to help me with the Cover Reveal?
I am planning for March 18, 2015!

Also, if you are interested in reviewing the first book, Pneuma, let me know!
Here's a little summary:
The hardest thing, her best friends she has grown up with, won't remember her. Why? Because of her past and future. With the approaching dangers, she has to leave to protect her loved ones not just from the dangers, but from herself as well.
It's something I can't quite describe, but it has lots of love, action, drama, heart ache, and heart felt moments.
Message me on Goodreads and we can exchange emails/info!
Looking forward to working with you!
Later days! =D

From the back cover:
In book 1 of The Life & Times Series, "Irene in College", Irene comes face-to-face with the realization that college is anything but easy. At the mercy of an insufferable mother, pompous boyfriend, malevolent best friend, dim-witted nuisance, and an ineffable college professor, what would be easy about it? Come join Irene as she learns how to deal with it all.
Irene thought college would be the easy part---get good grades, make new friends, and say good-bye to a daunting past. Little did she know that the whimsy of life would have other plans for her!

Comrades We is the story of the adventures of six friends as they grow up together, learn magic, encounter bad stuff, and try to fight their way out of trouble.
This is a fantasy novel. There is magic. There are swords. There are mysterious and cryptic gods. There are some really bad guys and there are good guys who are mostly ordinary and trying to do their best with what they've got. And if needed, there is always tea.
The book is suitable for ages 12 and up, as there is some violence, discussion of sexual assault, and made-up profanity.
Comrades We is available at Amazon Kindle, Google Play, and Smashwords (as well through Smashwords' premium catalog distributors, including iBooks, Barnes and Noble, and Kobo).

Here are brief synopses so you can decide whether to join the giveaway this month.
The View Beyond Earth,
An uninvited figure dressed in space garb drops in on a Southwest Space Station promotional gala. After the gala he is seen driving off with microbiologist Tandra Grey. A few weeks later they disappear with her two-year-old daughter and are not heard from again until Earth’s 2051 moon explorer “Dove” crashes on the moon’s Straight Wall near Mare Nubium. When Tandra and her daughter return to Earth, their hopes for making a difference there shatter, and they find their lives soon redefined.
The Webs of Varok (Nautilus award winner)
Giving up on Earth is all too easy, until you realize your child is growing up with the promise of stability on an alien planet, which is under attack by the same sinister forces destroying Earth. Adapting to alien ways is less a problem for adaptable human Tandra and daughter Shawne than that threat, which also targets their mixed family.
The Alien Effect
Raised on an alien planet, the young human, Shawne, is determined to help Earth recover from a major tragedy. As a result, San Diego invites its surprisingly near neighbors to visit and provide advice. All goes well until the tragic complexities of human life create irreconcilable differences. Greed rears its ugly head, and the visitors are forced to defend themselves. Meanwhile, the Alien Effect erupts, with very long-term consequences.

Mark it as to-be-read: The Haunting Love
Description:
What would you do if you never got to tell that one person how you felt? What if you could go back and tell them exactly how you felt? Seventeen-year-old Izabella "Iza" De Luca didn't believe her crush, Johnny, could ever like her because of her curvy body type. Meanwhile eighteen-year-old Johnny Becker doesn't believe he has a chance with Iza; the smart, beautiful girl he's fallen for.
It isn't until a fatal car crash traps Iza between the living and the dead that she can muster the courage to tell Johnny how she feels. But telling her true love how she feels does not relieve her from her burden. Soon she and her love, Johnny, find themselves in an all-out battle to keep their love alive. Nobody is safe when a demon named Devlin starts messing with everything and everyone they know.
Johnny and Iza will need the help of all of their friends to overpower Devlin. Can their love withstand all of the odds stacked against them or are they doomed from the start?

Two all powerful beings want her. One is a literal nightmare, the other is a god straight out of mythology.
Kenna Erikson knows absolutely nothing about Norse mythology. Which is daunting, considering she’s a volur, a type of seer the Vikings believed garnered favor with the gods. For the most part, she ignores her gifts, and the useless ability to foresee thirty or so seconds into the future. For as long as she can remember, she’s had only herself to rely on, and she likes that just fine. However, when shadows suddenly come alive and attack her, she’s forced to seek outside help in the form of tall, blonde, and infinitely annoying, Luka. Somehow, Luka knows all about her attackers, and the mythology they spring from. He’s also eager to help out, despite the fact they’ve only just met. But what secret is he keeping? Who is he really? And why does her heart flip every time he’s around?

My name is Cora and I have a Ya Romance titled Pretty Dancer. I look forward to connecting with you all and hopefully helping each other reach out goals of getting our books out there to readers. I love helping other new authors and sharing experiences.
Please add me as a friend and PM me! I look forward to the chats we will have!
Pretty Dancer

Meet Lilly - talented dancer, quick mouthed, take no shit tough girl who's also good at hiding the fact that she's scared. She doesn't believe in true love or happily ever afters. Unless you count the unbreakable love she has for her over protective, bullheaded twin brother, who also happens to be her knight in shining armor - which she doesn't.
Kind of hard to love when you can't trust, and trust was something that got shattered along with the rest of her years ago. A lot was taken from her at a young age. She's never gotten over it as much as she's just refused to deal with it.
The only thing in her entire world that still brings her peace is dancing. Her one and only dream is to dance her way to freedom. That freedom just so happens to be at The Elite Academy of Dance. She's more than willing to tuck all those dark and nasty things she doesn't want to think about away, like the darkness that haunts her dreams, and go on pretending, never hoping for anything more - until him.
A story about a girl who pours everything she has into her dancing. Her dream? To get accepted into The Elite Academy of Dance, and spend the rest of her life dancing on stage. To her, that's easier than dealing with the demons from her past and the scars they left on the person she has become today. A smart mouthed, take no shit, tough girl who's also scared, lonely, and closed off to accepting anyone new into her heart.
But in the process of wearing a hole in her ballet slippers, and the help of an ever faithful best friend, her bull headed and over protective twin brother, and a certain boy who knows how to push her buttons, leaves her wanting for things she never thought she'd want, and just does it for her, she starts to think that maybe, just maybe, there is something more worth fighting her demons for.
This is a story of a girl, who though faced a lot of hurt growing up, fights to make her dream come true. And maybe, just maybe, along the way finds a way to trust again, to love again.
Love, Humor, Passion, Artistry, a story of acceptance.

Joshua is small for his age. He has been bullied relentlessly for years, and all of his friends have drifted away from him. Eve is a pretty girl who has just been recruited into the popular clique. The two couldn't be more different.
As they begin their final year of middle school, the unlikely pair find themselves partners in Science class. At first reluctant to work with him, Eve soon discovers hidden truths about not only Joshua but their school that turn her world upside-down.
The two form a relationship that will teach them both the true meaning of friendship, loyalty, and love... a relationship that will end up changing not only their lives, but the entire complexion of their school.

Here she meets her true love, finds out that she is a witch from an ancient family, and discovers that her life is in danger.

With the help of her new friends, Elizabeth must travel to Greece to try and prove to the Elders that she is not a threat and to ask for their permission to exist in peace.
With the prospect of having to leave each other once the school year ends and return to their homes on opposite sides of the world, Elizabeth and her new love have to find a way to stay together. As time runs out, Elizabeth must learn to use the powers she possesses to protect herself and the people she loves most.

Cenna Torell is equally full of dreams, but she has been forced into an arranged marriage by her father, despite the fact that she is in love with someone else. For a moment, it seems like things will take a turn for the better; but then tragedy strikes.

I'm A.J. Darcy and I just published my first novella on Amazon.

The Bookworm Next Door
Delilah Davis does not know what to expect after her two older sisters forced a make-over on her right before her senior year starts. She just wants to read her books and pretend that she does not want the attention of her next door neighbor. Nothing could change the fact that he had publicly rejected her their freshmen year of high school.
David Carver is growing tired of the image that he feels he has to maintain to keep his place in his school’s social order, including the people that he hurt along the way to get there. Filled with regret, he is not certain how to change the past or if he even can. Is being popular really worth dealing with the negativity from his so-called friends?
Is David prepared for his first glance at the “improved” bookworm next door or will his friends ruin everything for the neighbors? Can Delilah trust David to not destroy her heart a second time? Was the make-over even worth it?

I have two stories to share.
The first is The Bookworm's Make Over - It's a short story (22 pages) that takes place before the novella (123 pages).
The Bookworm's Make over is currently being promoted as free from today until Aug 4th.

The main story is The Bookwork Next Door

Delilah Davis does not know what to expect after her two older sisters forced a make-over on her right before her senior year starts. My books are Young Adult, contemporary and realistic.
I'm a former journalist and lecturer, and now a high-school librarian (and loving it!).
Here's a summary of my book, The Day We Are Born:
How do you get through every day when you think you should be dead?
Elle is 13 when she realizes she is not meant to be here. Telling her parents lands her in therapy and on anti-depressants, and by the age of 16 nothing has changed…
It doesn't stop Elle trying to get through her days in one piece, however. And when she finds out that her favorite band is playing at a nearby festival she faces the challenge of persuading her parents to let her out of their sight. Getting that right is going to take a lot of work, but she needs them to let her go – and she doesn’t mean only to the concert.
Bad-tempered best friend Libby is hatching all sorts of plans, and their ticket to the festival may just be Sam, a boy who seems to want to be more than just friends. Elle doesn’t have the energy for a boyfriend, though, but does she even have a choice? Because something weird happens every time she and Sam are in the same room…
The Day We Are Born is about best friends, being a daughter, and falling in love for the first time.
If you'd like a free ebook of The Day We Are Born, please leave a message here, or inbox me. If you do read it, I'd love a written or starred review, but not compulsory!

Not all stories end happily nor tragically. Most of them just need to be continued.
Azalea Anthony is a writer, or what she claims to be.Vim Harvey is her friend, or at least what she wants to believe.Jasmine Morrish is Azalea's archenemy, or so what Jash believes Azalea makes people believe...er--There are other characters, too: like Warren, the basketball player, Beatrix, the model, Tom, the perfect excuse of a brother, Eclaire, the eccentric bff, etc.
They all hangout in one place where they can enjoy a steaming cup of debates, an aroma of gossips, a side dish of basketball, a topping of drama, and a menu of articles : The Big Coffee Shop.

Aislin Gray has finally turned eighteen, the pivotal moment in a banshee’s life, but with it comes her first Death Call—visions of someone’s death. It isn’t just anyone’s death—it’s Kaelin’s, the human who left so long ago. Now he’s back and Aislin will do anything to keep it that way, even if it means starting a war.

From a five star Amazon review:
Part mystery, part ghost story, part thriller, Goners is a very satisfying read. Its protagonists are real, relatable, and will appeal to a wide readership.
I hope you'll give it a read. I know you'll enjoy it.
