Welcome YA Authors and Readers!

Unlovable, a YA romantic thriller, is available for purchase! I published Unlovable back in January as an Ebook. It has done so well I decided to make it available in hard copy. Thanks everyone! Unlovable was temporarily pulled from the market to give it a final polish, but mostly to reformat it for hard copy! Currently, it is back on the market in ebook format. At the end of April the hard copy will be up for sale also. Here is a synopsis:
17 year old Maggie Brown is the poster child for Heroin Chic with her jutting bones and dark-ringed eyes. But drugs are not Maggie's problem; her mother is. She's struggling with her feelings for the new guy, Seth Prescott, fearing he is just another person who'll let her down.
The young Seth Prescott's an undercover cop whose feelings for Maggie have become complicated, and he's tired of fighting them.
As he works to bring down the local drug dealers, Maggie struggles to stay alive as the hunt turns deadly.
Seth and Maggie's romantic journey is one of humor, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
Unlovable is currently available as an ebook on Goodreads(http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...)
Amazon(http://www.amazon.com/Unlovable-Port-...)
Barnes & Noble(http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Unlo...)
and Smashwords(http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/...).
It will be available in hard copy at the end of April(2011)on Amazon.

Almendra, the High Lady of The Upper Kingdom, is doomed. Many years ago, in a fit of rage and broken heart, her mother banished all the men from the country and plunged it into unhappiness, loneliness and gloom. For many years Almendra’s only companions were her old Nanny and her faithful friend Woo, the wolf. Now Almendra faces a daunting task of going to The Land of Men and getting rid of the curse. But she doesn’t know the way and she has never seen a man in her life.
In comes Joannah Nibbler-Pincher, a girl with a tambourine, a bag of sad songs and a thick black choker that hides the mystery of her painful past. She and Almendra become best friends and Joannah takes it upon herself to take the High Lady and her unconventional family to The Land of Men, where Almendra intends to find love that, according to a fate line left by her mother, will have the power to restore The Upper Kingdom to all its former glory. But it’s a long way to The Land of Men and the outcome of the journey will change Almendra forever.

Review
Finally, a novel that not only offers an exciting plot line, an endearing heroine, and human relationships that are believable and sympathetic but also introduces a continuous thread of spiritual teaching that informs and advances the plot - a teaching about love, compassion and healing. Through the author's deft writing we watch the characters grow and change within the light of Caroline's mystical experience. Anyone at any age will enjoy this story because it is essentially about who we are and the joy of discovering our true identity. At the same time the author captures the enthusiasm and idealism of youth, without which our world could not evolve. - Lyla Yastion, PhD, author of Pause Now: Handbook for a Spiritual Revolution.

Natalie Jarrett is a seventeen-year-old girl who falls in love with the wrong boy. When she finds herself in the hospital after one of his violent attacks, she can no longer turn a blind eye. Suffering from severe injuries, her doctor tells her she will never be the same again. Although injured and feeling guilty, alone, scared and most of all, damaged, everyone seems to expect her to return quickly to her normal life – but how can she bounce back when she blames herself for all that’s gone wrong?

Teagan Kavanagh’s life is shattered when her parents are killed in a car accident. She must move in with her brother and is forced to attend public school for the first time in her life. As if starting a new school her junior year wasn’t hard enough, she continues to battle epilepsy and the constant unknown of when and where her next seizure will occur. As this new chapter in her life opens, she gets more than she bargained for. Torn between playing it safe and risking her life to be normal, Teagan must make a life changing decision.

When Caelyn Noel was diagnosed with asthma five years ago, it put a damper on things. Now, she’s sixteen and things are finally going her way. She has loving parents, the best friend ever, and the boy she has had a crush on since elementary school has finally noticed her. Then, she collapses in school one day. To her horror, she finds out her heart is failing and she must have a heart transplant to live. Caelyn struggles with her fear of dying and worries of having someone else’s heart.

Within our world exists a much darker world only known to a select few. Some are identified as “gifted” and brought to a special institute where they develop their own unique talent and understanding of this world within our world.
It is here Kassia finds out her talent is both dangerous and difficult to control. She has the ability to inflict pain on an individual within her sight. It is only after a friend is being attacked that she realizes her talent is much more powerful when she brings death to the attackers. Little did she know that use of such a powerful talent alerted demons to her existence.
Suddenly she is on the run with her best friend, who ironically is immune to her power, and a new kid at school she was falling for. Realizing she can’t outrun the demons, she seeks the guidance of a local shaman. The shaman explains the only escape is through her own death. In order to protect her friends and institute, she sets out to do just that.
Thanks!

Soul Catcher
Fifteen-year-old Kate Steiner is not sure why she is suddenly boarding at an East Coast school for troubled kids, though there is evidence that her lawyer parents are having marital problems. It is the mid-1970’s, and at the progressive school where she has landed, Kate is initiated into a stratified society inhabited by kids who fell through the cracks.
Kate must grapple with moral ambiguities when she discovers that Patrick, her first boyfriend, is also a slip-sliding drug addict. In the loosening of family ties, and faced with an inscrutable headmaster, uncommunicative parents and a doomed first love, Kate makes shadowy passage through her questioning adolescence…finding solace in a ‘soul catcher’ dangling inside a geodesic dome built by a quirky boy who surprises her with an unexpected friendship.
“A realistic, believable boarding school, where adolescent angst and the trauma of growing up at a breakneck pace is presented…as the difficult transition it is.” —Small Press Magazine

Hi all,
OTOLI is the first of my teenage books to be released by UK Independent publisher Pneuma Springs. There has been lots going on and the book has received some super reviews from YA book bloggers in the UK since its release at the end of April. There are a few more reviews pending but hopefully these will be just as good. A giveaway was hosted here at good reads and generated some good interest in the book. There is another worldwide giveaway currently running at YA Book Reads blog, http://yabookreads.com/blog/2011/06/0...
The winner will be picked on 3rd July 2011 so there are still a few more days to enter. You can also check out a review and interview at the site too. Failing that the book is available at Amazon, Waterstones and The Book Depository. I'm sure there will be others but these are the main ones. That's it for now.

I have written a YA novel called Trick that's available on Amazon, if you have a kindle, iPhone or iPad etc, for just 99p.
Growing up I loved books such as The Cather in The Rye (J.D. Salinger), The Body (Stephen King) and The Rachel papers (Martin Amis). My novel is not in their league of course but hopefully it gives you an idea of the genre.
Here's a synopsis:
A coming of age story with a difference.
Trick is fifteen and growing up in a dead-end Devon town. Because of how he looks, Trick stands out, attracting unwanted attention.
More than usually subject to peer pressure, he wins approval from his tough gang of friends by spotting an opportunity for a robbery at a local supermarket. But he never thought they’d go through with it. When they do Trick finds he can’t back out and has to take part in the crime.
Even though they escape with more money than they’d anticipated, it is a botched job and cataclysmic events unfold. Will Trick’s wit and quick thinking find a way out for him and his friends, or are they all doomed?
While all of this is unfolding, Kelly Jenkins, the girl Trick has been in love with since he was seven years old, is planning her escape from Devon. If he doesn’t tell her how he feels now he risks losing her forever…
A gritty, fast-paced story full of suspense and intrigue, Trick is ultimately about friendship, growing up and what it’s like to fall in love for the very first time.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trick-ebook/d...
If you anyone gets a chance to to take a look, I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers
Sean

The adventure begins with three people being ripped from their time and plopped down in 5500. The Wizard of Time has discovered that someone has been stealing history. He needs someone to steal it back and replace it before its missed and messes with the future timelines. The trick is finding the right way to return history and not let anyone know things aren’t the way they were supposed to be.
Oh and yeah. There’s the matter of the people wanting to stop them. And not caring if that is a permanent stop or not.
Josh, Meri and Digger have their work cut out for them. Along with their companions they have to fight bad guys, fight magic, learn about their own magic and use their skills, cunning and wits to chase history and put it back where it belongs.

I would love reviews or just reads. Its a great story and one that will soon become epic.
