The Compass Spins and Requests
Its been since April 26th that I have posted a book for PH or Compass, and this one was a lovely read for both. And exactly a month to date. But your girl is ready for a new spin. Put me down for Wednesday please. I don't even know what I might be hoping for, so we shall see how the dice roll.
My review is posted in Other Books. I am ready for another spin. Finished 2 other challenges and am feeling a little more flexible in reading for these challenges.

Linda, I have that it was set in Kenya, but I'm unsure of where else you have been. I have a feeling I'm not accurate with your journey here.

Fran,I’m almost done with my book but I have an appt so I might not get the review done until I get back.

That is accurate. I got involved in another complicated challenge and let this one slide. Hope to get further here now.

I gave you a spin, because I'm counting on you to get your review in today.

Thanks!
After some consideration, I've decided I didn't pack anything warm enough for Antarctica so I'm going to trade in my South-bound boarding pass for one of my free exchanges. My book for my June in-person book club takes place in NY, so I'm going to take a NW-bound ticket instead and head back to the States. This will be my first free exchange.
Amy wrote: "Jen what is the book your book club is doing?"My in person book club is similar to PBT in that we don't do same titles, we read a same theme and then share what we read. Our June prompt is a person's name in the title, and I'm planning to read Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin.
I also wouldn't mind a new Spin for Wednesday. I just keep getting East and it lands me in this no man's land of nothing in the dead of Russia. I have already circled the globe once with East and I am now in the same exact loop. New England/France/Russia. I had a stop in Tokyo and Alaska in between. Trip Eight or 9 and I still can't get out of this loop!

Perfect!!! I’ve been eager to get to Ireland. I’ll be reading a different book than I planned. The new one has a summer wedding.
I was dreading SW
I am so excited and delighted. Because this will bring me to the lower US. Probably also South America.
Fran, I'll need a spin for next Wednesday (June 11th). I'm happy with the book I read and gave it 5 stars.

Booknblues wrote: "I hope everyone's spins were lucky for them."Since I am currently sitting in the Atlantic Ocean in the Outer Banks, anything that didn't have East attached is perfect! Thanks!!
My spin is perfect for Sweden and My Friends. Next week might require a free ticket tho, but thats ok because I just went to a wedding to pick one up.
Woot! I just started a new Sharpe book and it is in Badajoz, Portugal-almost directly East of New York! Running for my plane!
Just this second had a minute to see what I got. Since leaving from Barbados and the direction is South, I at least have a good chunk of South America available. Now where is that list of SA crime fiction I started?Might be an island or three in the mix too.
