Landed in Hawaii and the weather is fine! Nothing on earth is as gorgeous as Aspen though. How about a Spin for Wedenesday please? Reviewed the book.
I am ready for my next spin, please! Thanks! (please, please, please: anything that includes the word East).
I’m ready for my next spin please. My review is posted. My numbering was off, but I think tomorrow’s spin will be #40 for the game!

Okey dokey, I'm going to be using a pass again. But this time it will earn me a new pass as the book fits the mini-challenge! @Ellen - looks like the spinner heard your request!
I got lucky too. I’m headed to Puerto Rico to read children’s books for my youngest relatives. Unfortunately the Spanish library with the best selection is closed while they install new AC. A few books are described as English and Spanish, and I’m hoping that means two full translations rather than just a mix of English and Spanish words. Their grandpa can help.

Wow! Thanks spinner!!
Ready for a new spin on October 1. My review is up - and it was a middle grade book so I earned back the free pass I used to switch from N to NE. 😏
Joanne wrote: "I somehow I missed the post for the children's challenge. Can someone repost it here? thanks"I'll post the link and the announcement. There are some additional conversations about it, that you may want to read that clarifies things and gives resources.

I'm just a bit late for this but for a free ticket for September, please review a children's book that fits the Around the World tag.
You will earn one free ticket
Thanks, Fran. I guess I did not miss it, as I respond in the thread...LoL, Just forgot all about it. I hpe I can find some children's books that I can get done before Tuesday.
My children’s book review is posted in the Compass review folder. Should it also go in the monthly tag folder? I’m ready for my next spin tomorrow please.
Fingers crossed for happy spins for all!Spins for October 1

Couldn't quite get my book finished for yesterday but I am ready for my next spin on 10/8 please. Thanks!
For a free ticket in October, read a book which mentions one of the following:Pumpkins
Leaves turning colors
Apple picking
Harvest festivals
Costume ball, party or trick or treating
I need a new spin on Wednesday, thanks! I also luckily earned a free pass from the October mini! Woot! And it's a fab quote!

Did I miss anyone?
I hope everyone is happy.
Normally it would be fine but I have challenges to finish and limited reading time so I am using a free pass to go East.

Not in any of my other challenges. I am at that point where very specific prompts or other criteria have to be met. East takes me to the Twin Cities and Minnesota and a mystery from my TBR which fits 1 of my 2 remaining 3rd list Play Harder prompts.
NancyJ wrote: "Theresa have you ever tried Allen Eskens? The Life We Bury"I don't think so. I have more than one option already for Minnesota, and the one I'm reading I've owned since 1989 - along with a couple later in the series - and it's past time I read it.
Will make note of him - I've certainly heard of the author.
I am using a free pass to go NW instead of S since there's not much south of Christchurch, New Zealand except Antarctica. I'll mark it on my tracking.
Amy is slowly trying to get back to her life... And humbly requests a next Wednesday Spin from India.
