The Compass Spins and Requests
I have to go North of Muscat, Oman (23.5880° N, 58.3829° E). Would Chechnya, Russia (43.4023° N, 45.7187° E) be close enough to North?

I think I was hoping for East. Super excited actually. I have to double check my map, but do you know what is exactly east of France? It’s Turkey! And do you know what takes place in Turkey? There are Rivers in the Sky by Elise Shefak. Yup!
I'm headed SW - need to see what my crime fiction options are. Very exciting!ETA: I'm headed to Argentina! One of the Edgar Best Novel nominees that I really want to read is set there, My Favorite Scar = a neo-noir so likely quite dark which is a nice contrast to the lighter mysteries I've been reading. So excited! Plus I think it includes a road trip within Argentina....which means a journey and more miles. I'll see.
And this is the first time I'm not going in some easterly direction.

Up for a new spin on Feb 5
I couldn’t get the book I wanted for SE, so I used a free ticket to go West to Istanbul Turkey. I read Cloud Cuckoo Land, and I’ll finish my review shortly.Done. I’m ready for my next spin please.

The book that I had selected for the direction West is not working out. (It's putting me to sleep every time I try to read it.)Can I ask for another spin?

I read this for Greenland Girl in Ice - Erica FerencikMy review https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Hah! I got NE so I am heading back to India - Bombay and Perveen Mistry. I have so many great crime fiction novels set in India, I am thrilled to go back. Now where is my copy of The Bombay Prince? I do believe it is autographed.
Thanks Linda! I posted to your review instead of thanking you here. I just downloaded it from Hoopla.
I think I am ready for my new spin if I did the first destination/direction correctly.I have posted in the monthly tag for February and also posted in the Compass Reviews thread.
