Review: This was a short book, not a bad little mystery. Not sure why it is considered a cozy when the people solving the mystery are cops, but I guess people can classify their books however they want. Technically the cop did spend more time thinking about kissing his girlfriend and worrying about his weight than actually solving the case, so maybe it is a cozy. :D I haven't read the previous books in the series and I probably won't make a point of searching them out, but if one fell into my lap, I'd probably read it.

Big Flirt was an ok book. I loved getting into the characters. Their Soret was wonderful. I was a little started by the abrupt ending, even though i knew it was coming.
So... while all of you are posting your reviews... I'm gonna post that I'm planning to read Seeds of Iniquity - which is 4th book in a series. :)Sorry for delay! I was in Tennessee with my son getting him registered and signed up for classes. He's good to go in the fall now! Yippee!!!

Wow! That is early, I don't think my son picks classes until August or so. I finished my book, just haven't posted my review yet :-) how far away is his school from where you live?? My son is only going to be around around 80 miles away from home :-)
My son is going to be just over 5 hours away.. They have different registration sessions between now And July. Classes start on 8/17! It's hard for him to come home and think about the last few weeks of HS now though! LOL!
Nice distance having your son 80 miles! Close enough yet far enough they'll get the full college experience. ;)
Exactly! Yes my son has a very bad case of senioridos , He has 3AP tests to take, and then we are pretty home free! He graduates on June 2 :-) he doesn't start until September 22 I believe, the UC schools are on the quarter system.
I should be done with my book tonight im about 80 percent done.

I think if it weren't for being in the middle of lacrosse season, he'd be totally checked out right about now. Last day of school is May 28th...

Review:
This is the 4th book in the In the Company of Killers series. I loved the first book - Killing Sarai, mostly because it was a completely different story than what I'd read before. It was extremely dark about Mexican drug lords and sex slaves so, although there was A LOT of information that was hard to read about, it turned out to be a very addictive and was pleasantly surprised how much I appreciated reading the book. Since then, there have been 2 other books in the series that I've read and they've been fairly decent reads, but not near as good as the first one. FINALLY this fourth book redeemed elevated the series back to where it started -- I thoroughly enjoyed it. The book mostly focused back on Sarai and Victor (which was part of the appeal) as well as the story wasn't so complex that I had to remember every little detail from the prior books. The author did a great job filling in basic details of what needed to be remembered - and it was done in a way that it brought the pieces right back. J A Redmerski has written 3 different series that I've read and each has been totally different than the other, yet I've loved them all.

I really enjoyed this book and the premise behind it all. I loved the whole concept of royalty needing surrogates for them to keep their lines going. It was fun to meet Violet who was not like the others and dared to be different. I have to say I really need the next book like now after that cliffhanger ending.
Week six 4th of July completed:4/26/15 **** I forgot how much I enjoy these books. Lindsay Boxer and friends, are just girls you wouldn't mind going out to lunch with. The only problem is really terrible things seem to happen to them all, so perhaps the lunch idea is not a good one. Lindsay runs off to Half Moon Bay, after killing two kids in the line of duty. Of course when she gets there there is trouble, and of course it is tied to the shooting back home.. Yes it all sounds crazy, but it is fun!
Done early as usual. Way to go team.
I'm floundering on several books. I can't decide what to start next. If it were depart, I'd have a nudge in the right direction. As it stands, I have about fifteen started books. I can't wait for Friday's roll.
I have basically no series on deck right now. I'm hoping for an alternate I can use for tomorrow.
I was just trying to figure that out too. I've been finishing more series lately than starting. I guess I should have saved some... Or start working my way up again.
We rolled a 9(3+6) so moved to spot 55. we have 5th in series and alernate Which is author S.
Hmm... A 5 or a 5... Think..Think... Think... I have a feeling the S-Author will come in handy!
That can be first or last name correct? I have no idea what I'm going to read :-)
Which PLL are you up to, Berit? And she's an S author to boot! I may have to pick her up... :)

LOL look at us all stumped :-) I'm actually on the fifth book, so possibly I will read that, I am doing this challenge where I have to read books at the other team is reading so hopefully they will read a book that will fit :-)

Review: Sidney Sheldon writes ridiculous, over-the-top stories but I just can't help but enjoy them. Billionaires, revenge, murderous spouses, amnesia and convents. How can you not enjoy it all?
I haven't read a book from him in a while, something to consider. Once again great job on being first :-) it's almost like we have a pattern of who is first second third fourth and fifth :-)
I read my book on Friday so should post review today (since I haven't yet)! Good job Allison Ann!

The ones no one else is reading (poor books). Plus that way no one cares if I take out 30 books and keep them for a month or two. :D Then I try and talk other patrons into reading the books I've just finished. Sidney Sheldon is my current recommended author. So far no takers, so if you read him Berit, that's kind of a win for me. ;)

Three Girls and a New Beginning was much better than the fourth book in the series. Much of it was told in flashbacks and the story was told by all three girls. I truly enjoyed the book.

Review: I enjoyed this book but felt like it so closely resembled the TV show, it felt like I had already read this before. I'm going to continue reading the series though as I believe I've heard they differ as you go on and I think I will enjoy getting more of the details that may not always be given in the show.

Going to read the fifth book in the PLL series, haven't gotten to it yet, yes I am slacking!;-) But promise my review will be up no later than Wednesday :-)
LOL didn't think you were, I'm just doing this other very crazy challenge and I need to read the other teams books, and they are not cooperating and helping me with this challenge ;-)
