R5: SS Four: A Divergent Team (4)

I really enjoy this series! It reminds me of watching an extended episode of Law and Order.I like Lindsey and friends and it is always nice to see women getting along. The Mistry kept me guessing until the very end, and I like the fact that there is always more then one plot line, and you never are quite sure which is going to be the main one. 5

Review: I'd classify this book as YA paranormal, not a genre I generally enjoy (YA) but this was pretty good. The young MCs were not complete and utter morons and the parents weren't monsters but instead normal, caring parents (including a nice stepmother). This book was obviously just setting up a future storyline and the author was a little too fond of hyphenated words that really shouldn't be hyphenated but all in all an enjoyable read.

Hope everyone's having a fabulous weekend!!

Wife by Wednesday was a quick, predictable book that i truly enjoyed. I loved the strength of the two main characters, and how well they fit together. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Review:
What a quick, fun read! This was the perfect book to improve my mood after a stressful day. One minute I was seconds away from road rage and the next, I'm almost choking on my gum laughing so hard at some of this lines in this story as I listened to the audio on my travels. The MC was adorable - picture Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's. She was fun-loving and quirky. I would recommend this to anyone needing a quick pick me up!

I really enjoyed this one and with as much as I love Jennifer Estep's books I guess I shouldn't have been shocked. The main character Gwen was a strong heroine just like I like them. This book has plenty of action and course plenty of talks about recipes and food like you expect from this author.

This was your very stereo typical who done it. With a bunch of characters who never were truly developed and I didn't really care about. I definitely never guessed who did it, but I really didn't care at the end of the book. This is a series I will not be continuing!

Review: An okay read, little dated but good. I wasn't crazy about most of the characters but there were so many of them that I didn't have a chance to hate anyone that much.

Book: The Consequence of Loving Colton by Rachel Van Dyken
Read: 05/17/15
Rating: ☆☆☆☆
Review:
I've read a few books by Rachel Van Dyken and this one was definitely unique. Although the romance was there, there was a lot more humor involved - a bit Tara Sivec-esque. It was a very light and funny romance - a perfect summer read! I enjoyed nearly all of the characters about 90% of the time.. If you read it, you will know what I mean as there were a few times I wanted to smack Max, and Grandma really scared me. The story is about Milo, who has been in love with Colton since she was 5, and how she tries to get Colton to see her as more than her brothers little sister. It's a little over-the-top in some of the predicaments that she finds herself in but I must have been in the mood for this type of story as I totally enjoyed every minute of this book!

This was your typical romance, girl meets boy, girl overcomes problem, girl falls in love, and they all live happily ever after. I liked the characters, enjoyed the setting Texas, and it was a very easy read. Next time I'm in the mood for a simple romance I will read the next book in the series.

This book was awesome on so many levels but be prepared for the fact that it is a dark and gritty book. These characters are really not that nice and when you add in that they are descendants of Gods with powers there is no telling what may happen.

I enjoyed this one and the world of spells and princesses and when magic goes all wrong. It was really funny at times and when you hear about some of the magical things that this world has you will be in awe. I am interested in reading the next one too.
