I am confused-did you read #75 then go back to back to read 79? 76 and 75 are both crossed off on your board. For now I will leave you at 79, but let me know

I rolled a 1 today to land on 79, which I will read for my current roll. I will then move back 3 spaces to 76. I have already read 76 so I will read 75 to account for the backward move.

Summary, I will read both 79 and 75, and when I request my next roll, I will be moving from spot #76. Hope that makes sense. If not send me a message and we'll work through it.

As usual, timing will be a bit all over the place with me (the joys of working full time!).

Friday will be the evening, so it will likely work out to close to 9:00pm Eastern. Sat and Sun will be a bit more "normal" timing. I should be able to do it around 2:00 or 2:30ish Eastern.

Your advantage is you may move to the next book tagged historical fiction that lies in front of you on your board. It must be tagged that way at least 5 times. This advantage may be used any time on your current board.

I worked on it for weeks, once the rules changed-my first board was a disaster!

That roll 1) takes me off the board. As soon as review on my current book is posted will request a roll on the Porter Board. and 2) it was a special 4-4, 4 participation points, which I will use for my first Porter book. Indeed a very lucky role for me!

Little heads up for Friday (despite what I said yesterday):

IF I remember, I might pop in on my lunch break at work to do the rolling. So, it may, after all, get done earlier than the evening.

I don't usually log in here while on lunch, but I'll try to remember to, so the timing remains a bit more consistent. I usually take lunch around 1:00ish my time (so, about 3:00 Eastern.)

Thank you! I think Nicole is currently reading #6 on her Porter board, so I would like to move her to #18 Girls Burn Brighter. I've not read this one yet, but I bought it a few years ago, and hopefully her review might help me to decide whether to move it up my TBR or not.

Anita, are you by any chance screenshotting our boards once we've finished them?? I just discovered the editing glitch that hit GR last month messed up my Clerk board post. It's about two rolls out of date, which doesn't really matter I guess since my Porter board is up to date, I just thought I'd check since I didn't think to back that post up and it's going to drive me crazy if I don't restore it somehow... might as well do it the easy way if possible!

Hi Pam,

Sadly I don’t back up the boards upon completion but I may be able to help recreate it. I do track the rolls in a spreadsheet. I am on vacation so now won’t really work, but I can take a look early next week to try to help.
