Your advantage is that you may move ahead to any book on your current board that is tagged 10 times or more with one of the tags that were up for the vote this year, but NOT the winners.

So none of the bolded tags are eligible, but any of the other ones are fair game.
Anita - I just noticed that my last two rolls were a 1 and a 3.5/8/23 rolled a "1"

I believe this lets me move someone to a new spot. Can you confirm that? And should I do this now? Do they need to be on my same level (Porter)?

Nancy - My question was more because so far, the tag I have voted for has won each time, and at the time of voting, I didn't have many options for most of the tags that didn't win. My list this time is actually 25 books, but four times each, and so I'm not sure how many, if any, of the books will be tagged at least 10 times with one of the tags that didn't win. That's why I was wondering if I need to use this special advantage now, or if I could save it, as I'm sure there will be at least one month where the tag I want to win doesn't, and so I would have more options to choose from.
ETA - I'm not actually sure if my explanation is any clearer!

Yes, you will be moving Rachel N. You may move her forward or backward within 15 spaces in any direction. Please post what you decide here.

Otherwise you would be able to make a board that specifically leveraged the advantage.
Anita, the first two dice take me off the current board. I will be posting my Conductor Loop 1 soon. Could you please set up the new thread? I will use the 5 on my new board, as we have done in the past, assuming that's still ok. [Note: I will put some neutral book at position 5 so as not to take undue advantage of knowing ahead of time. ie. it will not match the tag.]

My board has the same 25 books repeated 4 times, so I assume when I choose the book I want to use, I will use the position of the book closest to the start. For example, if I choose to use a book in spots 20, 30, 40 and 50, I assume I would move to the one in spot 20?

Haha - If it helps, I'm adding the first book from that series to my TBR too. Looks really good.
It's irrelevant.I didn't know how Hannah had her board set up when I put forth the advantage. Even if all of her books were different the advantage could have moved her to 5 or 55 . . .it didn't specify the next book that fits the criteria. It specifies a book that fits the criteria.
It's possible she has no books that fit that criteria making the advantage worthless.
I have a running list of advantage ideas, and it's luck what you get and when you get it and how well it works for your situation.
I've finished and reviewed my book, so I am ready for another roll, thank you.

I have a question. The last roll took me to #48. I had mistakenly already read that book, so someone said I could read the book either 1 before or 1 after. I chose the one before (47). I assume with this next roll, I will move forward from #48, which is actually where I landed?

I thought that if you had already read it, you read the book one space before, if you already read that one, go back one more, etc. When you roll again, you still roll from the space you landed on, not the space of the book you went back to. Mods, let us know if that's not right.

I liked the first book in the series and I'm looking forward to reading this one. For anyone interested Sue moved me to book 2 in the Sam Wyndham series, A Necessary Evil. I recommend the first book A Rising Man.
